This is such a hard hitting song for me. It hits me in all the feels and close to home. Music is an amazing thing in how it can connect with and tap into the human emotions better than anything else out there... I Used to think that being on opioids was going to be the greatest thing for my pain. yes it took away the physical pain but the emotional pain was still there and thriving. Diazepam is the generic version of valium, which is usually used for anxiety. Its different than oxy which is an opiod, but still just as addictive. Im there with you brother, those opiates will take hold of your soul and drag you down. Im glad we had the strength to say enough is enough. It wasnt easy, but it was worth it.💜💜💜 the one lyric in this song that really resonates with me is "went for a swim and then drowned in your ocean". So very true.

Ive been on Valium before and i can totally agree to it being just as addictive but luckily i wasn't on it very long because it was interfering with some of my other medications for epilepsy. It was the hardest thing for me to say goodbye to the Oxy's because it made me feel normal again if that makes sense but it almost took my life on multiple occasions so i had to come off of them for my family had i stayed on them i dont know if this channel or i would have ever happened. when i came off them i built this channel and figured maybe if my story could help a single person it would be worth the price i paid to save one life from overdose. If that makes any sense whatsoever. lol

You gave me a better understanding of what it’s like to be on oxy and thank you for the warning. It seems like a dangerous medicine. Nice to hear how music like NF actually played a role in you quitting that addiction. I’m so proud of you for doing that ❤ that’s amazing for you and your family

It was absolute hell, I'm on so much medication for my epilepsy, anxiety, depression and PTSD it would scare you. literally have a briefcase full of medication that i take daily. The Oxy's were the absolute best for taking the pain of my life away and making me numb but it also almost took my life on three separate occasions . I'm happy i was able to come off of them. but i still deal with the cravings still to this day and its been a year. That's how addictive it is. I think that's why i relate to ren so much. his medication stories mirror my own is some cases. "Ive stood in the flames, that cremated my brain and i never once flinch or shake" That lyric from "HI REN" hit me like a ton of bricks.

#ren Diazepam (valium) is different but highly addictive. I had it for debilitating anxiety.. helped at the time but doesn't deal with root cause. Its the root causes im dealing with right now 🖤

it funny you say root cause is the way to the light. Ive tried therapy and it never worked for me and ive only got 1 person i can really talk to about it because he's been through it himself. I just find it insanely hard to explain to a random person that hasnt been through it to understand and get to my "root cause" you know? I knew it was a benzo i was just making the comparison with Oxy's because of the addictive nature of both medications. I totally get the anxiety part of it, I myself am dealing with it along with depression Epilepsy and PTSD.

@@That90sKidReacts ❤ know what you mean, I have lost a lot of ppl from a young teen to drug's including my sister. When I got to 30's alcohol "helped my anxiety & PTSD" but we all know it doesn't really! That's what I love about Ren's new song #troubles and other's .. he's been through soooo much. He is hope, we are hope getting away from all that crap ❣️

@@That90sKidReactsAlso, Roots is in my head as going to secret garden party near Brighton for festival. Chinchilla, Romain (from big push) Ruby J and supposedly Ren - all there n loads more. Everything seems the right time now to get all under control, no addiction is worth it ❣️
