Do all the hive have TPI (or/and is it tied to ready by setting been on or off or is it just automatic and adds or removes 0.1c to stop boiler fast cycling)

OK! Well I've been using the NEST thermostat for YEARS and it ALREADY paid for itself in way less that 2yrears and more like the 1st year when I'm not at home. Yes, the NEST was expensive but to "pay" for itself so quickly is worth it to me. Any of these brands will SAVE you money. I do NOT have a dedicated "C" wire and the NEST works great for me and has been for many YEARS! Also, works great for my AC during the summer months as there is no need to cool your home when you are NOT there but will pre-cool the home before you get home.

Hey, any idea why my hive always says it's really hot in my house when it's actually really cold? It's about 13° indoors but the hive says 24.5 and I have to turn it up to crazy amounts just to get some warmth. It's nowhere near a radiator.

Hive is free obviously buy the product there is a hive plus subscription but you dont need it

Correct me if I'm wrong, but most combi boilers in the UK as they're designd and installed as standard, don't have multizone, and hence all radiators heat up the same way? Therefore multiple Hive thermostats (or Nests or whatever) wouldn't work here at all, and you'd need TRVs to control individual rooms?

You are correct. You csn get hive smart valves to control individual radiators

You wire each hive receiver to a motorized zone valve. Normally one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

It's absolute crap you can't even boost the heating from it. The app is crap too have to sign in and get a security code every time I want the heating on im ripping it out

Why would you sign out of the app everytime your not using it (make sure power setting is set to unrestricted and edit the permission setting and turn off the automatic remove permissions so it doesn't remove permission after 30 days of app non use) on apple make sure app store is set to not uninstall unused apps
