Constructed 28 meters deep into the ground and anchored on solid granite, the HKSH Proton Therapy Centre is not only a breakthrough in cancer care but also an engineering miracle to behold. Our meticulously designed proton therapy system comprises two 150-ton half-rotating gantries, two 15m tall radiation shielded bunker chamber, a four magnet-ring synchrotron and an advanced bream transport system across three levels. The system is ingeniously positioned in a vertically stacked format, making it an excellent example of compact design configurations suitable for densely populated urban areas like Hong Kong
