Born and raised & grow up in TRẠI GIAM CẢI TẠO! I was very familiar with this type of rifle and m16 and m14! I remembered the shitty old day in Pleiku! Bro the zastava m 70 shoot better than my $2,000 arsenal sam 7, I put over 6,000 rounds over it and it shoot reliable every time. I look at the internal parts and nothing looks deformed, the bolt looks brand new. I bought another 1000 rounds, planning to shoot when spring comes.

That red wood with the linseed oil looks fantastic. I got the standard dark wood but might put some oil on it now after seeing yours.

Boiled linseed oil work fantastic on them wood stock! You gotta be patient with it though. Applied it with your fingers and let’s it’s dried up over night and apply another coat of linseed oils on it I did it 3 times! That’s what it’s turn out!

I love my Zpap. Got the standard walnut stock and went with the Tung Oil to seal the stock. Came out nice. Zpap is a very accurate rifle comes with nice trigger but they are heavy. I like the triangle stock on yours.

Just saw your comment from 5 months ago, I'm curious how the tung oil finish is holding up, if you still got it. I just received my serbian red m70 and trying to decide what to put on the wood. Have you noticed any advantages/disadvantages using the tung instead of linseed?

If you would like you should try a jmac rrd2c or rrd4c muzzle brake.. it will make it shoot like an air rifle.. I no it’s not bad out of box but you will see a massive improvement with it and make much faster follow up shots and double taps.. cheers…

@@mynameisinigomontoya8179 because it’s how it’s designed! AR have tighter specs compare to the AK and M14 like them Delayed Roller lock are also recommended oil due to their tighter fitted parts and movement.

@@itiswhatitis1598 thats not a 74 thats a 5.56 ak I want a 5.45x39 I mean, I GUESS a m92 is close enough for some people. I just want the real deal. 5.45 hits a little different than 5.56 does. I mean it wasn't the 5.56 that got nicknamed the poison bullet. The 5.45 shares similar ballistics to 5.56 but it is jsut a way more violent bullet when it hits a soft target and I THINK (im not 100% sure if this is correct) 5.45 is less velocity dependent than 5.56 is.

Good shooting, Try one US Palm Stainless Steel Latch Cage Magazine. Their very tight at first, smack it in 2-3 times, I have more than one, FDE. I bought mine for $14.97 what a deal, I got. I've shot over a 1,000 rds so far, and have no issues, with my Mags, or the Zastava M70 , mine is all Walnut Furniture. Zastava has Excellent Customer Services. Great Investment Apex has a 5 PC cleaning tubed kit for $10, good price. Thanks for sharing Masonry Plus Florida DeSantis Strong

The Saiga are great rifle! But WASR are hit and miss! I owned 2 and both of them are junk. But my buddy WASR 10 are great rifle!

Nice rifle. I have the same rifle but mine is the folding triangle stock version. Not sure what they are selling for but mine was just under $1000. Now you need a Zastava M77 in 7.62 NATO. The M77 is my new favorite rifle

@@hlam998 I own both the FN 57 version 1.5 and now the PSA Rock 5.7. Overall fit, finish, and feel of the PSA wins hands down. I have no idea how that translates to reliability. I am sure that FN put their 57 through some rigorous tests to get it to "NATO" standard. Can't say the same for the PSA 5.7 but in my brief use, I like the PSA a lot.

I have two and the one like yours does not toss the casings that far, the other throws them really far and is much harsher recoil... Maybe over gassed?

I noticed that casing was ejected a little farther than my Arsenal Sam7. But the recoil and it’s felt fine. I’m not noticing any over gas issues at all.

I put in the ALG trigger. you have to round it. and FIT it. it is not worth it. The STOCK ALL STEEL ComBlock made trigger is GREAT in the M70. I Sent the ALG back to Brownells for a refund. put paracord around the triangle stock for a cheek rest if you put a side rail on it. with the acog style mounted primary arms 3x. I can shoot 1.5 MOA.

AK MASTERMOUNT makes m70 side rail. has picatinny AND acog mount holes. BOTH.

You should put the slant brake back on. It will significantly reduce your muzzle rise.
