All that glitters is not Gold. When you see an old establishment that has survived 100 years you expect good quality food. Delhi has one of the oldest bakeries in India and the quality of the bakery is best in Delhi. They don't sell cheap but they need to preserve their heritage and it is doing good business.
On the other hand when I visited Nahoum which is also 100 years old bakery the rates were cheap but the quality was compromised to make it cheap. People of Kolkata can be super annoyed with me for saying this but this place has not flavour. They can improve their product by using quality ingredients but the market in which they are located does not that kind of ambience.
The market which is a heritage property like CP is not well maintained and you can see garbage all over the market.
We also visited China town early morning to have breakfast which serves unique items which I have never seen in India at any other place. The Chinese Immigrants are the last of their generation as most of them have migrated. So rejoice the amazing Chinese dishes till the time.
