This 100-year-old Restaurant serves the timeless menu that has British Era written all over it. Unlike in Delhi where you won't find a single British influenced restaurant which is still running. We all know that Kolkata the capital of the East India company and have many such 100 years old eateries.
This place is more in the Oh teri place as per head cost to eat is around Rs 1000 which is almost the same breakfast charges, charged by most of the 5-star hotels in the town.
We tried the healthy version of the English breakfast and if you look at the plate it was not that healthy after all. As per the research processed meat can cause colon cancer and this plate is full of it. This is not to scare you but our honest disclosure

I am surprised to see comments on the color of dahi. The fact is in the preparation of Misty Dahi or Sweet Curd the sugar is roasted first, slightly before crushing it to make powder form. Due to roasting the sugar gives out brown color which when mixed with milk changes the white milk to brownish. The white misty dahi sugar is not roasted. Breakfast in Kolkata was always like that, sausages and steak or green tea are Chinese in origin, the British had nothing to do with it. English had nothing to do with it, flurry’s was a Swiss bakery, Switzerland and England are as different as chalk and cheese.

Sir jo lal dahi hota hai...usme chini ki syrup ko thora jala k milaya jata hai...usse thora colour add hota jai But white misti doi me normal chini add hota hai dudh me...to uska colour white as milk rahta hai

@flurys_india A most discourteous experience in much hyped Flurys! We stepped in to the gateman's curt greeting: Restrooms are out of order! Manager was nonchalant about it such behaviour. We walked out never to return to defunct reliques of colonial India. The fastfood joint across the road was enjoyable. Kudos to Wow Momos!

Baked beans are British or Canadian food. White beans with sauce (prepared using onion, tomato, beef or pork broth, brown sugar, some herbs). You need to assemble bread with omelet, ham to get the taste. that's a better way to eat. I 🤪 The color of the curd is not depend on sugar and Jaggery. U do research but u need to do more research I guess
