HMT have such a beautiful history, it’s a watch which everybody from the richest to poor could afford an enjoy. The price for this used to be like ₹750 which is roughly $10.5. Such an amazing time piece

You will never find the original for that cheap they will be in 50-100 usd range this one is a Frankenstein watch

@@Avaddon911 yes frank watches are good too but do try to get a real if you can their finishing is much better and you will get 100% original hmt movement

i received my first hmt pilot watch yesterday..the watch is magnificent..they are selling their new watches through their website...but they ship only in india

I enjoyed your video. I hope so you must be liking hmt pilot watch performance now. It's a tiny watch stays all the time on my wrist , even though I own other indian brand watches from titan , logues , and few foreign brands like seiko, citizen .

HMT still sells their old stock through their website but it is rapidly getting out of stock

It depends on what you mean by real. It's a frankenwatch - a Janata assembled in a home factory from available parts.

Hey buddy, I'm really sorry to beak it to you, but that is not an original Janata. That is an aftermarket dial. Same movement and case though. I don't know how much you paid for it, but it is available for equivalent of 12 dollars on the streets of Delhi. You could have ordered a original vintage Janata for about 15 Dollars OR a NEW one from HMT Website for around 42 dollars (they sell out in minutes every time they list their stock online.). But one thing is these after market dials are very vibrant and colourful, and the watches last a long time. So, regardless, Enjoy the watch.

'that is not an original Janata.' Yes, I think everybody knows that.There's a huge cottage industry of assembling these watches from parts, and this watch is one of them. I bought this one because I particularly liked the dial.
