Күн бұрынI got (another) HMT watch but I missed out on a watch as the courier guys didn't deliver it, yet claimed delivery. Bugger!!!
Fortunately, the one that got delivered is something I have been on the lookout for several months. It's finally here....Tadaaà!!!! HMT always smash it out of the park when it comes to dial on the Kohinoor - and this one is now different

Just discovered my grandfather's old HMT Heera ref. no. 031082 from a box. Wound it and it's still working, even after almost 15 years of staying dormant. Thinking of restoring it and wearing it daily.

@@randomrantsandreviews910 Yeah! Sent it for servicing, can't wait to get it back. He got the watch back in '82 after he lost his Favre- Leuba which he acquired in the 1950's

Welcome from the UK. I've just bought two hmt watches (not new) from India including a Kohinoor. Have not received them yet, but so looking forward to them.

Just bought a vintage hmt kohinoor similar to this one on ebay. Can anyone tell me if the green glowing indices are radioactive and dangerous? Cheers

Not Radium dial,to get afraid of. Now a days not much manufacturers using Radium dial. It's a sunburst glossy finishing dial. It is available on Titan watches , Logues brand watches too. But this Kohinoor model case is attractive and very smaller size when compared to other watch brands I have taken up here. Both Titan and Logues brands are also from India. I own them.

The case end of the watches top to bottom where the strap is attached to hold the case end.

Just got delivered my Kohinoor. But there is some dust particles in dial. What to do. It looks pretty odd.

Return to HMT and they should send a replacement. I'm not surprised by your experience, though. Their QC is totally hit and miss

How much time taken to deliver

Hmt takes 7 to 8 days to deliver. They use speedpost wherever reachability is present. Otherwise local courier at last mile delivery. This is what I learned from different forums and discussions where I read from. Every person has different experience.

Recently hmt has started using other private courier services instead of India post. Like the one in this video...It delivered to someone else. Other customers are getting broken boxes and stuff like that. Would recommend you to wait for a while till hmt goes back to using India post as their courier partner.

As there is no cash on delivery option it's pretty unsafe to order now via these bad courier services. It's almost like a gamble. Wouldn't recommend it.

Das Babu has brought out the facts quite succinctly. Of the 10 watches that I have ordered, have faced issue only with one. I choose the PayU option during checkout as I'm not too comfortable giving out credit card on a portal whose security credentials are not too sure.

The dial size is about 38mm and lug width (strap size) is 18mm. Standard measurements.
