I just got them and yes, they are pretty muted. For HMX standards, at least. Soft bottom-out too. And I agree with pretty much everything said in the video - they're very tight, decently lubed but few of the switches still had a bit of spring crunch and a touch of scratchiness, they feel nice to type on... Good choice for those who want a deeper sounding HXM switch.

Hey keebtaro! Thanks again for another amazing review! Are you able to please advise what caliper you use? I would love to purchase one! I see that there are some cheap ones out there but I would love one that is accurate

Are you Rassles from Keebzncables? As you can see, I'm using a cheap caliper. The smallest measurement unit is 0.1mm. But the zero reset function is very important, and I always reset before measuring or set to zero using the total switch height. For precise measurement, I recommend a metal caliper with a thumb roller. If possible, the smallest unit should be 0.01mm. But they're expensive... Honestly, even if you can measure in 0.01mm units, the individual differences in switches are so large that it doesn't really matter, haha.

So, what do you think this compared to bsun aniya? I'm using bsun aniya on my main keyboard and I'm looking for new switch on my other keyboard, which is currently using KTT Kang White. Is the different that much? Which one is smoother between KTT Kang White, Bsun Aniya and HMX Hibiscus? Thanks

Aniya is the closest to HMX among BSUN switches. So if you like Aniya, there's no need to switch to a new one. If you're dissatisfied with Aniya, buying a new switch is fine, but I don't have enough information to say whether Hibiscus will be the solution.

dang taro, im worried hmx switches are all becoming sounding the same, this one sounds the same with the very same pudding i just bought 😢 or maybe im just overthinking this bahahaha

It's true that the sound differences in HMX are minimal. However, I can say that there is almost no difference in quality, so please don't make any unnecessary purchases based on my review lol It seems that a full-travel type with a non-long pole will be released, so I'm looking forward to the difference in sound.

@@KeebTaro dont worry taro, my preference is still mine, and i love my pudding. its just I noticed the sound was similar but i agree, fantastic quality. but hey, without your reviews, i wouldn’t buy them in the first place and or I would be hesitant to buy it tbh
