im asking about switches in your previous videos out of the HMX Macchiato and HMX caramel pudding which one is smoother and which one is creamier, and which one do you like more
@KeebTaroСағат бұрын
I'm not going to mention "creamy" as the definition is vague, but Caramel Pudding is slightly smoother.

Always nice video done by you! I want to ask, are 1989 pole or rail bottom out? and can you do hmx snow crash video review too? Thanks!
@KeebTaroКүн бұрын
It's pole bottom-out.

Unikeys also has a warning on 1989 switches that not only there is cherry north interference, but in general any keycaps of 1.7mm or more thickness will also cause interference

Are you going to test the HMX Jelly too?

I'm not sure

hmm .. i think your camera mic is close to real life ... your codenser mic is to close to your keyboard... so it's more focused on the switch. (it's not my type of recording because it would sound more unrealistic, but since it's more focusing on the switch, I think that's okay too :D ) thank you for adding camera mic for the comparison :)

Wow 1989 really sound deep on the Envoy

The Game1989 seems like a great addition to the full travel HMX choices... AND of course immediately sold out on Unikeys.😅

I did some research on the KD 200 switch and saw it rated as HMX Cheese switch with increased key pressure, what do you think about this?
@KeebTaroКүн бұрын
The sound is more similar to Cloud than Cheese.

Aaaah, your ASMR is bliss..... It's even better when you have one of your own. I have a collection of ones from the late 1980s and some NOS from the early 1990s. The best keyboard to learn to type on.

Love your reviews, especially the charts, I buy switches base on your charts and it never disappoints! Will you maybe review the Y1X and Y3 switches too? Curious about how they compare to the Mirror lake.

Hi! have you received a production model of the Raw HE? I'm looking for about 3.5mm travel distance and these seem perfect. I want to know how it compares to the jades bottom out feeling :D Thanks!
@KeebTaro7 күн бұрын
Unfortunately, I don't have the one.

Smoother than the Jades that's for sure. Stem wobble is a lot better too, Raw HE's new king for me. Will be shelving the jades.

nice. now thats a relaxing typing experience. sound and feel. the look of the switch looks like mint leaves lolol
I just got them and yes, they are pretty muted. For HMX standards, at least. Soft bottom-out too. And I agree with pretty much everything said in the video - they're very tight, decently lubed but few of the switches still had a bit of spring crunch and a touch of scratchiness, they feel nice to type on... Good choice for those who want a deeper sounding HXM switch.

Could you please do a direct typing test between your lower and higher pitch HMX switches on the same board configuration? I think it would be helpful because many of the high pitch HMX switches were tested with case foam while many lower pitch ones were done with no foam. Thank you.
