Back again with more! From cars set on not cooperating during filming, to plenty of the usual mishaps, there's a little bit of everything here.

The sound that every model train enthusiast's ears are tuned to listen for, is the clicking of wheels off the track. To us, it's like nails on a chalkboard.

These compilations are hilarious, although this was a big reason I got out of HO. The detail is awesome, as is the variety of equipment. However, the cars are too light and always act like Thomas' "Troublesome Trucks", even on good trackwork. In almost 6 years of O scale railroading (under live catenary no less), I have yet to experience an operational derailment. That said, thanks for creating and posting these clips. I am glad I wasn't the only one who experienced this, and it was great for a much-needed laugh.

What you could've done is add small weights inside the cars above or near the wheels that way it will force the cars to stay on the track but obviously it depends on the design of the cars but quick and easy problem to fix

They make weights you can put inside rail cars. Pluse it depends how fast you go and placement of cars

I liked the NS engines with the 'Black voices', the 'hand of God' switching the track, and that stupid Southern car and lumber car, just yank them off the layout man. There's farmers out there who need to get their new John Deere tractors delivered.

I've found out it's best to put lighter cars like centerbeams and flat cars in the back. As well as gondolas and well cars. Autoracks go in the front. Box cars, hopper cars and tank cars can go pretty much anywhere.

Engineer Bob sez safety first. Remember to check wheel gauge and weight of your locomotives and freight cars before running them on a layout

It's not ruled out, but they'll never be like they were. I've got the latest builds of Trainz, just lack the time to put a video together. Model stuff goes together much quicker and fares better view wise.

I think a lot of your derailing trouble can be solved with bending up The hose peice under the knuckle coupler they catch on switches and crossings all the time

Yep, with the exception of cars that didn't behave, they were club cars removed from layout shortly after since they didn't track right.

That's the problem with the rp25 wheel flange, there is not enough flange to hold the cars on the tracks especially when they get a little build up on them. I have taken many wheel sets off and actually chucked them in a lathe and made the flange deeper, cars actually stopped derailing by quite a bit. But still a cool video.
