What a great video! Interesting answers, and the editing was fantastic with all the clips and little details that you added to the art (?). Not sure what to call it but I'm talking about the tags that said booktube airlines and the flowers you drew bursting out of your chest etc. :) I laughed out loud when you cringed at your accidental ice cream pun. I envy your excellent memory. Mine is abysmal. That photoshoot sounds amazing! I hope it all turns out the way you envisioned.

Very random tag, but I enjoyed it! I know what you mean about picking faves. Maybe I could do a top 100 in no particular order, but not a top 3 of anything at all. I enjoy Lorde's voice, so may give her new stuff a listen. Food is just so wonderful, and should be enjoyed so it's a shame some people seem to be being a bit judgy and surprised you enjoy food. My family are not adventurous foodwise at all, so I don't feel like I started to appreciate food until I left home and started trying new things. Now I love trying new foods and different taste combinations. That photoshoot sounds fantastic. I look forward to seeing them once they've been published. I need to try not reading in my own voice. I feel like I'm so slow when reading recently! Handmaids Tale is ridiculously good, in an awful uncomfortable 'Please don't let this happen' kind of a way. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series as it's so relevant even now.

Hi, Vix! I ADORE this video. Salt & Straw is delicious--I went there probably too often when I lived in Portland. I'm vegan, but they always have the coconut milk mint flavor and other vegan0friendly flavors on rotation! I love food as well, and your noodles sound delicious! I am incredibly apprehensive about watching The Handmaid's Tale, partly because I haven't read the book, and partly because I don't know if I'm in the mood to watch such heavy subject matter...which I'm realizing now is utter bullshit, as I'd watch Game of Thrones immediately if it were available. Ahhh! Please give us (me!) all the details for when your photoshoot goes public--I'd also love to read any and all of your writing. I love hanging out with you on your channel. New viewer here! Really enjoying your informal, discussion-style videos! Glad to hear you're loving the Handmaid's Tale, I read the book but cannot bring myself to watch the show! I'm reading spoilers for it though, and it sounds amazing!

Ice cream & other cool treats are doubtlessly popular during LA's ongoing hot weather. Can't imagine it. I get warmish, cool-to-coldish, & freezing & nuthin' but. Handmaiden's Tale will be more apropos if Pence becomes Prez. He might yet.

I, too, have an oddly specific excellent memory. Mine is more geared towards things I verbally hear and strings of numbers. Don't ever give me your bank account number, as I will remember it forever!

Yes I can read without hearing my voice in my head and I read much faster that way. I see the words and understand them and they are registered somehow in my mind without them sounding in my head. I've even experimented with seeing a word but hearing a different word in my head for example I might see and register the number 9 but I say in my head 7 or I see the word milk but say in my head bread. But I need to be focused.

The voiceless reading bit is a thing I've definitely experienced, but don't prefer. I consume more, and faster, but I enjoy it less. It's almost like watching a movie on 2.5x speed, for me (speed may vary). Sure, I'll finish it faster, but that doesn't make it a better experience.
