Hey Shrimp keepers,
Another Fish Room Friday. Today, we are taking a look at Paul's Fish Room. His fish room is one of the most in depth fish rooms I have ever seen. Paul gave us a tour of his fish room when I was in Columbus a few weeks ago. Such a great guy who has been in the hobby ever since he was 8.. a true hobbyist!
Paul has a water change system that blows my mind! His system automatically filters the water and then adds it back in. All of it is ran off of a timer. It's pretty interesting to learn how he does things.
It's always a treat to be able to see fish room and do fish room tours in person. You can honestly learn so much and there are a 1,000 different ways to do things. So, huge thank you to Paul for showing us his fish room. It was a great tour with plenty of apistogramma sp.

I love it that the color blind guy keeps saying "if you could see the color of these fish in person", I keep thinking, if you could see the color in person too! lol love you LupD

Lup, dont take this the wrong way - but your personality is completely different in this video than your shrimp videos. You show your knowledge, and you speak at a faster pace and it seems to keep me more engaged. It seems you are excited about the tanks (which anyone would)-- Keep up the good work. Keep a planted tank or add a few to your fish room?

Also, that's a standard mixing/ tempering valve you can get at any plumbing store. It's a great idea though, so you don't have to guess the water temp every water change.

That nitrate filter that converts nitrates to nitrogen gas! 3 x 50% per week to one 50% water change a month and very low nitrates in between that sounds awesome. I’ve seen something like that but is there any info available on systems like that and how helpful they are? Even some videos on that filter system specifically would be awesome. Looks to be a real gam changer for the hobby.

Fish room tour videos often suffer the same audio problem: no mic for the host. So you hear an overly loud interviewer and a faint host. Still great video though.

this would have been more exciting for you and viewers if the guy didnt seem like he was tired of the room while the condition of the room reflects . um ........yah.......
