The Hobolite Bi-Color LED lighting system arrived yesterday and I gotta tell you. Upon first look i was blown away. Their tag line is "Created for Artists by Artists" and it shows. The attention to detail alongside logical and innovative design attributes makes the Hobolite Series of lights a joy to use. You even look good doing it too. Understandable but I think one needs to see where the value is. I have purchased so many different systems throughout the years and time after time I have been disappointed by either the light itself or all the attachments or lack there of. There has always been a question…why could they just do this? It would of been so much better. Not the case with Hobolite. They look fantastic and they work smart. They have thought of everything that can be a hindrance and addressed it with a quality made product and amazing customer service.

@@AaronNovak1 I saw and was tempted, but still $580 after taxes for a 100w light. They look cool, I just can’t justify it. Even w the sale price you could get a amaran 100x (at full price) and save $350+.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Understandable but I’m not an influencer. I am an ambassador for the company however. I’m introducing the light system and giving you a first look. Showing you some of the features and build quality. It may be my poor assumption but most creatives spending money on a light system know how to use it. I apologize if this video didn’t hit all the marks for you but it clearly wasn’t meant to be a creative lighting tips video.

It's not that man. We need to see how we can use the light. Is it bright enough as a keylight, outside usage, area light, minimum speed of lens at a specific distance, how much do the gels reduce the lumins, etc. No review of these lights right now shows this. I just bought this light if I have time I might hit some of those points at a photoshoot. I'll reserve judgment till then. Also a V mount? Why not arca swiss, which most camera people use?

Most of my gear is with new companies tired of these giant corporations playing games stringing us along with upgrades and updates we do need. And we actually don't need the amount of light most lighting companies act as if we do. Like how many people are lighting a room at night for a daytime look to need a 1k or more light? The pro is amazing I'm love the Bowens mount as well.
