I used a Hobonichi Cousin last year in the Avec version and I really loved it. But even the Avec version can feel unhandy as a every day carry. Especially if, like me, you love using stickers and sticker kits. This year I try some planners from the Kinbor brand. The bullet journal is a bit too unstructered for me. Especially the linear calendar didn't really work for me. I will try a Kinbor "weeks" for an every day carry. And a stalogy for bigger lists etc. A Kinbor A6 (Hobonichi techo original dupe) for journaling (dairy).

Thanks for sharing your new planners. As a sporadic bullet journalist, I have been interested in the Hobonichi planners, so it is nice to get a closer look. I am thrilled for you and the news of your precious little girl. My oldest daughter is due around the same time with her first baby, and it is a girl too!

Beautiful, a baby girl, that's so sweet. I've used the A6 this year as a catch all I can carry, appointments, events, a few words each day with memories of Mum who we lost this year and a food diary. I've absolutely loved the paper and the portability but soon stopped using the monthly planner. I shall look forward to seeing how you get along with it. Weeks I've never had but always loved the weekly planner - I think that would suit me very well. I wish you both a wonderful Christmas, sending love xxx

I had guessed a girl from your bump. I’m a mom & nana right now but in June 2023 will have my first great grandchild! I told my grandson I have “dibs” on the title great nana.

Good to see you back in the planning / journaling platform. I've never used Hobonichi, but been using Muji A5 planner and absolutely love love it! Its layout is very similar to the Hobonichi Weeks. Each year Muji only produces certain quantity of the planners and they're sold out pretty quickly all around the world. In any event, happy holidays and have a blissful pregnancy. The good thing about having a girl as a firstborn is that she will help looking after her siblings. Also, I didn't know that midwives are still around in Canada. Haven't heard this word in a long... long time. Awesome! 😊

Thank you. And that's awesome! I've seen those Muji's planners at the end of the year and they are tempting to try out hehe. And having a girl as a firstborn, I think my mom said the same thing 🥰 And yup! Midwives are still around - so awesome!!

I love the idea of journaling in preparation for the baby / having a journal for the baby, be it for prayers or milestones. To be honest, im kinda sad you dont started to do bullet journaling again in 2023, when that is the year i planned to start bullet journaling. But as always, i hope your baby is always healthy. Thank you for introducing this planner.
