The Princess of Wales needs our support and prayers - there is her husband and their three children to consider. These two presenters are very respectful, please forgive them for calling HRH by her name; Kate. Maybe, if some of the horrible media people saw her as a human being first - whose name is Kate, they wouldn’t have been too quick to be so harsh on the young woman. They palace told us that she had done surgery and would take weeks to recover so these media people like Piers Morgan, the women on the View with the exception of Whoopi, Megyn Kelly and other members of the media, the Meghan sugar trolls that were hounding, making wild speculations and theories, criticizing and bashing Princess Catherine for not coming out or being absent are absolutely horrible.

I agree, this is a lesson to all of us. 1. When someone went on leave and told you she/he will undergo a surgery, you don't make fun of them, shut your mouth and keep minding your own business. 2. If you're really concern, send a message privately. 3. And when they're back, ask them how they're doing, get on with your life and let them share it themselves.

Thank you, Hoda and Jenna Just to reassure you, Catherine's popularity remained high from the Palace announcement of her surgery to the present time. Also of interest is when the public was questioned about the amount of information given the largest majority felt they had been given enough. All of these facts are taken from YOUGOV polls and surveys done during that period. Unfortunately, journalists and the media didn't seem so interested in the facts as listening to the noise from social media. IMO and the facts would tend to support that we didn't lose trust in Catherine, her PR team or the Palace I think it's press that must behave more professionally.

The Princess of Wales has been married for over 11 years, and she requested at that time she be known as Catherine, not Kate. 2. Her title now is Catherine Princess of Wales, not "Princess Kate." 3. I believe it's because PC was already known in the US media for many (8?) years as Kate, PW girlfriend. When Princess of Wales is mentioned, many Americans will still think it's Diana. So I am guessing they can only properly address her when her name becomes Queen Catherine.

What strikes me as well about Catherine’s actions in taking back control of this whole narrative, is that she must have insisted on filming that video alone. It demonstrates in a very positive way, that while she loves her husband, she doesn’t need to be’ protected by William any longer…..at least not in that way. I found that remarkable. She is now in her forties, and has grown immensely over the past 20 plus years. Shows how confident she is in making smart, intuitive decisions now. She should be very proud of herself.

Princess Kate has been the picture of grace and decorum, and her public announcement of her cancer proves that. I could feel her emotion and strength as I was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2013 and a a survivor. It is not the death sentence it was 50 years ago.

Kate is truly an exceptional human being. Although her time on Earth will likely be cut short by cancer, she has already accomplished far more than most people can do in 100 years. It really doesn't matter how she is referred to, as she is both. Yes, officially she is Catherine Princess of Wales, but also she is the Duchess of Cornwall as well as Duchess of Rothesay. However, she will always be also known as Kate Middleton because that's who she is. Some people seem to get offended as they think it's a sign of lack of respect. But that's where they are wrong! It's not for lack of respect, but quite the opposite actually, it's more familiar, friendly, warm and human to call her Kate. And it's shorter ;)

Nice words. I'm just frustrated and still upset that more media didn't promote this decency BEFORE the Princess of Wales' announcement. And I'm echoing that they should show REAL respect by calling her by her title or at least not by her maiden name. Other channels have admitted they don't use the titles because it hurts their searchability and SEO. So unfortunately, this is going to continue to be an issue. JUST use her proper name.
