Watching all the professors come to battle felt really epic since we talked to them, took their classes and knew them personally through quests. To me it felt like watching avengers come together.

Anyone else get choked up over Professor Fig? I was expecting a twist all game that he would somehow be evil, so when it didn't happen, he went out a great mentor.

It should’ve gave you the option to heal sevastians sister after you got the bad ending but eventually overtime it would’ve turned her hollow like Isadora’s dad. I thought that would’ve been cool.

I felt bad for Anne and Seb. I really wished we could save her somehow.

I felt the need of a ending where you destroy the power. I didn’t want to consume that power I wouldn’t know the long term repercussions. But I also think keeping that thing hidden will only delay the inevitable: someone following Isidora’s footsteps, I can’t live forever and one day someone like me will show up in Hogwarts again. I felt like the “good ending” was for nothing

It's funny how different the neutral and "evil" endings are when it comes to Fig's death. You could easily miss him dying in the "evil" one when the rocks drop on him.

It would be great if there were different endings for Seal and Harness. Like for the Seal Endings, you all survived and succeeded, one of you dies, both of you die, and you don't succeed. In Harness Endings, either you harness the power and use it for good or evil, or you fail to harness it and die. Depending on your relationship, Frig dies or lives.

Oh I really hope they make another legacy. The toast to Fig made it feel like the Harry Potter books and movies. We want more Legacy’s, please!!!!!!

I loved the game, but I’m really bummed that most choices don’t change anything, there’s so many ways it could’ve branched out and changed, I sincerely was disappointed there was no option to join rookwood, I also was bummed that taking out Harlow really didn’t do much. Truthfully the last quarter of the game felt unfinished to me. I really do think they ran out of more time. The game we got was still a great adventure and I’m glad I played it.

I didn't even notice in my "evil" ending that professor Fig died. That was really anticlimactic. Like he just fell down a cliff on the side. I thought we'd see him later again, cause we also survived it.

I got a third dialogue option, stating I planned to use the power for myself. I went full dark wizard in my playthrough, so I guess that's where it came from. My guy was like "It belongs to me, and I'll use it as I see fit."

When the professors show up it gave me goosebumps and made me feel like I was in the battle at Hogwarts in Deathly Hallows Part 2! 🥺 it felt so powerful!

Was anyone else expecting the game to just be longer? I was hoping for at least a couple years at Hogwarts, like becoming a Prefect. So I could actually build my “Legacy”.

I chose the "bad" ending because I thought containing something just because you are afraid of it didn't sit right. Using it without understanding it is not right either. I don't think the Keepers or Isidora were completely right or wrong, to be honest. So I wouldn't say there is an evil/good ending. To me learning about that magic seems more appropriate than keeping it contained so someone else at some point can deal with it.

There is a huge potential for DLC, also map has so many empty places. I choose to harness and keep the power. It was semi good/evil ending. Keeping it for personal use/defending weak but not abusing it like Izydora.

The entire events of this game took place because that power was locked away. If you don’t harness it, it’s bound to happen again with the next villain. Opening the power is definitely the smarter way to go.

I knew when I began this game that he was gonna die by the end of it, but damn, it's so devastating, he's such a wonderful character.

none of the endings are really bad it just depends on what path you want to follow at the end of the day theyre all "good" and id even say the "evil" ending is the best one because your character doesnt abuse it like isidora.

Game was great but the biggest disapointment that the hold roll/dash button doesn't change to black smoke once you choose the Evil path, I was honestly waiting to zip around like a death eater the entire game :(

Just finished the game and chose all the evil paths and I’m VERY underwhelmed with the ending but still fun just coulda been significantly better

No doubt the game is a massive success and a good start but there are definitely elements that need improving - I’m excited about sequels and hope they get deeper into rpg elements like the kind of disappointing skill tree (each spell should have have a tree to itself or a deeper charms/dada/transfig/herb/potions/defence skill tree that rewarded using each set of spells to unlock better versions) as well as better writing for the characters and conversations.

I feel like the good ending works best with Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. And the evil ending works best with Ravenclaw and Slytherin.

Okay so I got an ending i haven’t seen anyone else get? When Fig asked what I was going to do, i said open it. Then he asked why and I had a third option I haven’t seen anyone else have. I said i want to keep the power for myself. There was no “oh imma open it but use it for good”. She was just straight up like yeah i want to use it for myself. And Fig was like “you can’t be serious”. And then the rest was the same as the other “bad ending”. I used all the killing curses and did some questionable things in my playthrough, probs why the game gave me the evilest option hahah

Shame there wasn’t actually an evil path that allowed you to join Victor Rookwood. Could have backstabbed goblin boi together.

This game seriously going to need many more DLCs. Gameplay is awasome. Storytelling is awasome. But game feels very short. This map has so much more potential. There is not depth at all. . Caves and treasure vautls can be much more. There is no haggling when selling your equipments. All beasts gets sold at same price. This is so much dumg. Especially Skyrim player will relate that. 😢 Depth and more stories. More epic monsters. We all need.

I find it interesting how when you initiate the conversation with Sebastian, he is hunched over (probably sad because of his failure at the side quest?) but once he is told important information, his postures becomes upright.

You missed the 4th ending… if you do Sebastian’s quest line, you get the option to use the power for yourself. It’ll literally end the same way, just different dialogue from your character and Fig if that’s something that matters to you. 😂😂🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't see how the "bad" ending is bad. It's not a question whether the character ends up being corrupted by the power, that's irrelevant. What's more important is whether the power is kept there or not. Like, if you pay attention to the story, what the FUCK was the point of having the "keepers" if some random goblin in a random era just woke up and decided "man I really want to get that stuff" and then pray for another keeper to just waltz in to save the day like they want the MC to just do. It's a sitting duck, either it is there or it's not. And seeing how the MC is practically irrelevant in the HP lore in hindsight, he probs doesn't do anything worthy of note with the power, he'll just live with it, do whatever, and die of old age or something; the power dies with him, and Hogwarts no longer has a huge target painted on it for at least another century until Harry winds up in the school.

The evil ending might as well let you absorb the whole thing and turn into some kind of magical god.

So from what i understand, the good ending is that we seal all the power and the bad ending is we also seal the power but absorb just a little bit of it, and the true ending is the one where we win the house cup? How is that a bad ending since our character seems to be determined to use it for good? Also did fig still die in bad ending?

i wish the game had a longer story kinda and more spells, and when i finished the whole story line at level 28, it took me so long to get to level 34 to get the ending sequence bc there where no side missions left i wish they would add more quest or maybe some dlc in the future

I love how I’m playing the game four times (each for the four houses) and I made my Slytherin character a sort of antihero which made it so difficult to decide which ending I should pick for her. However, I love Professor Fig too much and I don’t really want to hear the disappointment so sorry Fig but I’m killing you off xx

They need to do a lot more work on this kinda thing in the sequel. Let us be truly bad if we want & see the repercussions of that, expand on the dialogue npcs have ao they can be more suitable a response to your actions. Same goes for your character you can be casting avada kedavra one minute and the next minute you’re like “oh terribly sorry to bother you professor”.

Idk about the good ending but i noticed after choosing the bad ending, my normal spell attacks look exactly like that dark red ancient magic. Could be overthinking it but I just noticed when I shot down vines that I thought fire could only do.

it still seems like there are no confirmed plans for any dlc, but seeing people's ideas for what they could be is so cool. Adding quidditch could be fun, or more dark arts related content, but more than anything I just want some kind of resolution for Anne's character. It doesn't even have to be a positive ending, but things were left SO open I just don't get how they could NOT give some sort of closure. It would be really nice to heal her, especially since I think Sebastian's storyline was the most compelling, or have some kind of repercussions for choosing whether or not to open the repository. The lack of ending for that was really unsatisfying to me, but I can understand that there were quite a few things that had to be scrapped if the developers were running out of time like the unfinished companion framework, I'm just surprised a main storyline is one that lacked enough priority to finish before release. But who knows maybe it was purposeful and will have some kind of tie in with Legacy 2 if not included in a dlc?? I love this game so much though, it was really really fun and the open world was awesome, I still think everyone who worked on this game did an amazing job. And at least we have mods like the Companion one on Nexus to keep playing with after the main storyline is finished! If no one's got us, the modding community sure does

God I wish I knew what song was playing at 1:15 during that run scene. I remember trying to fight all the goblins I could during that scene just to hear it more.

Before the game came out I fully expected the evil ending to be me forming an allegiance with Ranrok. I went for the evil ending and was kind of disappointed that I didn't get to cure Anne and that there were no repercussions for my actions e.g. being expelled or worse.

i really wanted to see more stuff related to ancient magic, we did all the trials to seek knowledge, but all we got was the final vault. I expected to arrive to some sort of library or be bombarded with memories of how to actually use ancient magic in combat or to build, I feel that this part of the story was abandoned

Honestly, the ending I’d want (at least for my morally ambiguous Ravenclaw) is ‘I’ll keep the power and die with it instead of leaving it in this dingy cave to be stolen by goblins next month’. As it is I don’t like either official ending for her so I guess I’ll pick the ‘I’ll release and keep the power’ super duper evil guy ending even if that’s not how I see it. The lack of development in the final chunk of the game is very clear given that there’s a lot more ways to handle this predicament than what they’re presenting to us. “Good” Ending: Leave it alone and keep the power hidden for another 200 years like the Keeper’s have been doing. I don’t see the point of this ending unless you plan to just wait on the problem and go ‘if I don’t look at it it doesn’t exist’. Plus, IMMEDIATELY after you say ‘I’ll keep it here’ Fig is like ‘Maybe I should tell everybody’. Bruh “Evil” Ending: Absorb the power and keep it for yourself. Like I said, I’m thinking of picking this ending for my Ravenclaw and rewrite it in my head that she’s holding the power so no one else can use it and will die with it. That may not be how it works, but the game doesn’t feel like specifying how it works so I can do what I want. Roleplay, baby “Bad” Ending: Release the power and share it with the world: Definitely the most reckless ending if you don’t consider the ‘unlimited powahhh’ ending the evil one. We spend all this time being lectured about ancient magic, most of the time leaning toward ‘stay away from that crap’, and then we go against everything and release it lol. I can understand doing this for Anne’s sake, though, or the previous ending, but personally it doesn’t make much sense to me given what we know. Overall the endings are mid, some would consider them downright bad, but I’m not that harsh since the rest of the game was enjoyable (except getting every collectible oh God) and I wasn’t looking for a super deep story anyway. The typical ‘my expectations weren’t high to begin with’ response for me, and that’s when you decide to rewrite the ending in your head and ignore what everyone in-game says ‘cause they don’t get there’s other options

I really need some help I’m playing on my pc and at the final battle against ranrok and I have a problem where the coloured orbs no matter how many times I hit it with the correct spell it simply doesn’t work. Meaning I cannot get onto the ending making me really sad because I can’t complete it. I’ve restarted my Computer, I’ve uninstalled the game then reinstalled it and started from different saves and it’s still not letting me hit the orbs. Does anyone have any solution??

In all honesty, opening it might be better. Not harnessing all of it; just opening it. Fig is worried of the power that ancient magic holds, but in all honesty, ancient magic is only visible to few wizards anyway, and while it can be used for bad, it can also be used for good. Magic as a whole is neither good or bad, but I don't see Fig complaining about it. Incendio can be used to light candles, ovens, fireplaces, and it can also burn paper. It can also burn people alive. Diffindo can be used to cut fabric, perhaps give the wix in question a haircut, and it can also cut off fruit from a tree. It can also be used to cut other people to pieces. Even lumos, the seemingly most friendly spell could in theory be used for bad. It can light things up, but make it strong enough, but it close enough to a wix's eye, and you can blind someone. Magic is powerful in itself, but no catastrophe happened just because those with the power of magic were taught how to harness it. Yes, the unforgivable curses exist, and much harm can be done, but thats what magic is. It has done more good than bad in my opinion, and teaching magic in itself is also to prevent people from unknowingly use magic in a bad way. In the same matter, those with a talent for ancient magic should be taught to harness it, what it is; even perhaps those who can't harness it should at least be taught what it is in broad strokes. This way, at least accidents won't happen, and if the regulation of ancient magic is good, then acts like those of Izydora can be prevented. We shouldn't try to hide ancient magic, put it in a box and say it doesn't exist. Other should know what it is, and ancient magic should be able to flow through the world; however, those who can harness it should be taught how to wield it properly, and should be shown the things it has caused in the past before. Our MC could be one of the first to be such a teacher; they could give trials, memories and other lessons in ancient magic, perhaps as a painting later, so that new generations understand what it is and what it can do. This way, there will be no accidents, and while bad can be done, who knows what amount of good it will do. Miriam is the OG here, and I'm going to continue her legacy. Her hogwarts legacy.

My endings were weird. Like I got the evil ending but didnt show Fig die and then the next scene was them toasting Figs death. Im like wait he died did i miss something and then i went back to my streaming video and nope didnt die even tho i got the scene at the end saying he died. Also how do you get the games credits? Is it like Arkham Knight were you have to do a certain amount of side quests to get the game to end comopletely?

There should've been an option to somehow destroy it, it doesn't feel fully complete knowing someone could come and take it after the player passes on

I have a question. How did the teachers apparate to the location underground? They are under Hogwarts, and no doubt they came from inside of Hogwarts. I am not sure if the goblins messed with it, but Ronen says they somehow evaded the defensive charms rather than broken them.

Ok I'm a little confused. Which was the good and which was bad? Looked like Fig died in both but it wasn't mentioned in the ending where you use the power. I didn't understand how it seems like the ending where you use the horrible bad power that you were trying to stop the hole game is the better ending. 🤔

My Ravenclaw character(First Playthrough): Chose to seal the power but intends to bring in friends/allies to further understand and study it later. My Hufflepuff character: Chose to seal it and keep it that way forever. Slytherin character: Release the power because it's hers and the Keepers were wrong. Gryffindor character: Release the power in hopes that it will be safe in his hands and he's brave enough to wield it.

Don't get wrong having the professors come to our aid in the final battle was cool but I feel like it would have been cooler if the friends MC's made were there, Imelda blasting the trolls while on her broom, Ominis, Sebastian, poppy bringing animals in the fight

Personally I really wanted a true evil ending like he obtains this magic, learns how to use it and instead of using it for good use it for self gain and just kill everyone who knows of its existence. Like full on order 66 the lot 😂. Sound horrible but that is a true evil ending, what's so evil about unlocking it and using it for good or not unlocking it and gig dying 😂

I took that power for myself. Not in an evil power hungry sort of way, it was the logical thing to do, nobody else should be able to have access to it or use it. Its too dangerous and too unstable, i thought having it in me would prevent any other maniac from acquiring it, and i that i would use it within inconsequential reason or not at all and hope the power dies along with me. I mean the whole point of the story is that it was a bad idea to hide it, someone found it and a lot bad shit happened along the way, it was obviously A MISTAKE, another method is required. I will never understand the point of resealing it, peoples brains were probably like: *hmmm the ancient magic that was sealed centuries ago was found and used for evil purposes, the plan did not work, what would be the best course of action.... SEAL IT AGAIN LOL*

i'd have to say that i can only see 2 different endings but the true ending is that supposed to be tied to the house cup part if so then what is the difference between the ending in the house cup but anywho it's still amazing how those of the house that your character is in goes practically skipping over to the protagonist for earning the winning points

Destroy should've been an option. i was going for a fair playthrough where i would only do bad if it meant greater good. Leaving the power is only a temptation for someone else to take the trials and get the power. Also Ranrok didn't even need to take the trials to find the repository so anyone with enough will could get in there realistically. If we destroyed it that opportunity would be gone forever. Personally though i felt like Isidora was on the right track in trying to use ancient magic for the betterment of everyone but it was misguided. The keepers kinda had a philosophy of not using the power at all because they don't know what its capable of and to me that didn't seem right because if you have the chance to do good you should.

How is it when I play as Slytherin that I get a option basically saying “I want this power for myself” but it doesn’t show up on this video? It goes underneath the “This power should not be be kept from the world”. The only reason why I can think of is that when Professor Onai asks you about what you see in your future my Slytherin said “Power”.

As a Hufflepuff I’ve chosen the evil path. Because I’d prefer to become someone I’d rather enjoy being then being someone that I’m not. & because it’s fascinating to see a “Good House in Hogwarts” to have an evil wizard in their mist. Which really made me happy. But overall I wished I joined Rookwood, Harlow, & Ranrok in conquering the wizarding world side by side as an unstoppable prodigy / apprentice / master underneath them. That would’ve been ideal/legendary to glue me to the game for more. But I’m hoping that they make a Hogwarts Legacy II because the first one was amazing and I want to continue playing it.
