So a fun tip, with the big frog enemy things if you lift them by their tongue with levioso and then use Diffindo it cuts their tongue off and one shots them. Very useful cause those guys can be tanky

Fighting tips use flipendo on a troll after it does an overhead attack to make himself hit him in the face with his own club Use Levinson on a burrowing spider for an insta kill Use expelliarmus on the giant knights and hit RB/ R1 to to throw there own swords at them or surrounding enemies Use transformation to switch a wolf wizard back to a wizard

Im glad this video exists Most gamplays vids of this game are incredebly bad because of the players constantly spaming until everything is on CD without any thought which just makes combat look incredebly boring and just generally not fun to watch However your vid proves that combat in this game can be extremely fun if done right and it doesnt even have to be complicated The game even allows you to make combos with the unforgivable curses if done right despite their lenghty and cinematic animations Like spreding curse to a lot of targets through different means and then casting AK to kill all of them with one of the last Dark Arts talents

Using potions and most importantly, the plants, makes you extremely powerful I would recommend also using them, and grow a lot in the room of requirement.

Since this is a hub for actual gameplay tips let me drop one, the frog enemies weakness is DIFFINDO, interrupt their tongue attacks with LEVIOSO then follow up with DIFFINDO, it one shots them.

I switch spell the hotbar thing as the fight goes on and it makes combat so cool. It reminds me of Ghost of Tsushima stance switching.

Combat is just so incredibly fun. Wand gameplay in most games that feature it is generally boring but I swear this game is leading the charge in making wands relevant and cool again. Haven't gotten Descindo yet but I've found myself piecing together some of these combos. I do wish there was a target dummy that's always available somewhere so I can practice more. Maybe there is and I missed it?

My favourite combo against an individual just has to be Acio-Glacius-Incendio. Effortlessly obliterates Ashwinder grunts into ice fragments 👌

This is the same spell combo I used for a while. Only thing I changed was swapping defindo for bombarda. But you can use this combo as bombarda is not needed to complete the story

mixed it with arresto momentum and incendio too so mine would be Accio>Incendio>Descendo>Arresto Momentum (to give you couple of sec to switch magic page) Glacius and then Diffindo

This is great. Question for you, once I have Transformation spell, and upgrade it to turn an enemy into an explosive, is it better than Expelliarmus?

I’ve never been more surprised by a licensed AAA title.

Which traits do you use? Since you’re using 4 damaging spells, it makes sense to use the increased spell damage for all spells trait, but having 6 laceration buffs for diffindo would make some big numbers for your finisher.

Can you do a spell wheel set video or something could use a good way to which to place spells :)

I swear on my life, I was just about to click Hogwarts legacy combat, so I go to search for it and I made a mistake and clicked the video because it recommended me this and boom, here you are explaining combat. The video released 19 seconds as I was about to click the search tab. I didn’t even read the title of the video 😆

It would have been incredible scenario if u detonate the frozen enemies it would freezes every other nearby enemies like in god of war ragnarok , instead it just explodes and pushes them away still good but could have been so much cooler with that freeze spreading effect , just my 2cents

I can't tell you how overwhelmed i feel about this game. I have a 3yo 900$ gaming laptop with 1660ti and ryzen7 3750h and it turns out it runs constantly from 30 in crouded areas to almost smooth 60 in other on medium 1080p. The world looks amazing and not even a bit empty. The combat, movement and flying are in my opinion the smoothest, most satisfying thing that happened in modern gaming. They did an insane job!

One of my faves is using the transfiguration spell to make your enemy a bomb and throwing it at another enemy

Not sure what i am doing wrong but i dont see those damage numbers in my game play. What wand did you made in the beginning? Or doesnt mather?

literally me only complaints with the game like 23 hours in are the menu being cursor only on console and i wish we could reroll talents or maybe have unique challenges to unlock bonus perks for specific spells (like having a wider Diffendo arc or having alternate casting styles for spells)

The most powerful combo is the fangs 3 enhancement for all of your gear coupled with biting cabbages. Upgrade through your room of requirements and you can throw 6 out at once 1k damage per hit. I’ve defeated every worldboss in under 10 seconds on hard difficulty. Completely broken

Can someone tell me how he was able to jump on and off his broom mid combat without going to the tool wheel?

I found that expeliarmus rarely disarming opponents. You need to fight enemies with actual weapons, not other wizards. Still nice build

your fov seems so far zoomed out ! how did you do that im on pc and its so zoomed in even if have the fov setting all the way up
