If you want to form America, try checking out the Enclave Reborn mod. Adds content for the enclave that lets you conquer the entire map, along with lots of flavour.

You don't have to be near the ocean to use ships. You can patrol the rivers inland. Which is really cool in this mod.

OWB is my absolute favourite mod for HOI4 and I'm glad to see you cover it. But yeah, like you commented in the video, if you survive the early game and built up properly you can easily steamroll virtually any faction on the map. Like another comment said, if you want to reform America there's an Enclave Reborn submod which allows you to do exactly that, plus Enclave Reborn has extra difficulty options to make the battles more even rather than a one-sided blood bath.

As has been mentioned I'd look for the enclave reborn redux mod. If you go full democratic USA you get to go full manifest destiny. It is one of the cases where you are rewarded for going the democratic path and I believe allows you to get war goals and cores on the entire map eventually. Also the story is peak.

Yeah that's just the thing I've noticed about the mod is that the map is designed to kind of support these particular blobs. Where you have the Haves and Have Nots at start and you're not really going to run into a peer state for a while if you're a "Have". Like if you play the Washington Brotherhood you're not going to run into anything remotely capable of challenging you until you hit the Troll Warrens (basically after you've taken all of Washington and Northern Oregon and Northern idaho effectively). So if you want to sweat things out you really have to play one of the "Doomed" factions meant to get steamrolled like The Cause or the Yakama Tribes or Port Maw instead. So in base game terms your options to play nations generally equate to Germany (in terms of its early dominance and flexibility) or like, the Netherlands (Has content but you're not really meant to do anything but get annexed and it'll be a long entrenched fight to avoid it). There's not really too much (That I've run into in Old World Blues) that might fit a standard like.. Mexico where you probably aren't going to world conquest but you can easily set up for large gains as well until Italy cripples you with a single focus....

I have been watching your videos for a few months now and I get such joy from when you post that I felt like I needed to give back. that's why I purchased a mouse pad and became a channel member, in hopes that you are able to continue making the amazing content that you always do.

Would recommend trying out the Texan Brotherhood, has neat mechanics with refounding Texas and starting to rebuild America, or at least the states that existed in that area of the continent, if you go down the correct path for it. When I did it I even went with trying to make my Army more traditional with rifles, tanks, trucks, air superiority, basically rebuilding the US Army, was fun.

Remember to send Chicago an even amount of resources. Spread out the choices. Once you send a certain amount of each, you get a choice to send nothing with zero consequences.

The reformer side of the focus tree is honestly a lot better than the enclave side, I'd recommend you do a second run doing that side.

Put fire teams and explosive experts in your inf division later on you can also add a waste land tank in their for a bit more firepower

I recently played this mod and tbh recruitable pop isnt much of an issue when you go down the farming tech tree since it gives ridiculous boosts to monthly pop

Went and started a BoS Mojave run as Elijah. Lots of fun, just finished wiping out the Legion.

I didn't realize they had Wasteland stuff too. That's sick.

I recommend putting a lot of production into power armor, and robots due to manpower limitations & just have regular infantry to hold the line. I was playing the Enclave Redux Mod & I slayed the Caesar Leigon I lost like 1.4K men & killed 234k (only attacking with power armor & robots holding the line) the robot divisions will up your special forces cap to then have more power armor

Top path on fireteam and demolitions is pretty much the equivalent of artillery, ballistic rifles also have more soft attack than energy weapon. Also if you ever play a nation and that only has basic infantry tech level , go for melee. The powered melee weaponry you get from the decision in 83 is better than the laser and ballistic equivalents

You should do that disaster save you set up for yourself in that Soviet Union expert ai game

There are normally some Decisions that give Weekly Stability in exchange for Weekly War Support, Research Speed or Temporary Civilian Factories.

You should totally check out robot city with a full robot build, they consume energy but they are also fucking op, better than power armor even

@20:02 Having spent a lot of time in Great Falls, MT you have no idea of the irony of your statement. It is a town that consists of Billboards, fast food restaurants, a lot of Meth, and not much else...

I'm from Iowa and can confirm that's what 'Midwestern Men' look like.

Make sure you evenly distribute resources to Chicago, because once you reach a certain amount in each, you will get an option to not send anything at all. If you focus on one resource, you'll be giving them more then you need to, and waste.

I'm not sure if it was the culture advisors or economic advisors or both but there are usually ones that add stability there.

Just an FYI - pacify is not the same as core. The Enclave non-reformers get pacify which removes the need to garrison the territory but you don't get the manpower like a full core. If you went the left path for reformer you could have unlocked the full coring mechanic.

if you need some stability make consumer goods/luxury people usualy like that or make em pay less taxes i suppose

Ya power armour is super super good in this mod. Your main problem with factions that can use power armour is manpower. So you will still often lose when you fight the big bois because the will just expand the front untill they overwhelm you

the focus tree isnt done, it'll get the rest when Chicago gets added to the mod in about 3 years time probably.

Best mod for HoI4. If you are out of manpower then: a) try to core states with high population first (some state has like 100 pop and their coring cost is not worthy PP if you can core 5k+ pop pieces), b) use agriculture tech for small manpower boosts (500 per tech + bonus to pop/month), c) use medical techs support companies (hospitals) to save all manpower you can, d) use enforcers (max that tech for big bonus to suppression) to garrison land (+dogs for big bonuses to suppression) and pacify Wasteland Garrison law (high compliance faster = less garrisons needed and more bonuses from land), e) try to not gobble too much land at once. f) play with refuges unlocked in game rules - if you can manage them with PP and techs (radio and agriculture) you can get nice boost to manpower but if not your stab will suffer (more refuges then core pop = you have 0 stab). About stability - there are only two ways to get it in this mod - decision (not all nation have them if i recall correctly and/or some techs unlock more decisions) and focuses. Maybe some nations have advisor giving it but I don't remember any right now. If you want full Enclave bad guy play trough you need Enclave reborn sub mod with purity path. You need a lot of micromanagement on that path (stupid pacified wasteland mechanics if nothing changed - i played that path quiet some time ago) but you are true bad guy there. Or you can take Granite path and find funny things about his mom if you meat Bishop in New Reno and reunite USA as pseudo good guys (by sweeping few things under the carpet on your path there).

For garrisons, use either militia pr enforcers. Enforcers are better, bit more expensive. Dogs also help with suppression.

I always use robots if I can, cause they always use less manpower. Plus they are good as power armor without the special forces numbers holding back. I have play thousands of hours of old world blues. I probably play less than a few hours of hoi4 lol.
