My advice. Save your sanity. DO NOT DO achievement runs. You will save your sanity. I did them all. It was not worth it.

Ironman runs aren't worth it in general. Especially in a game that is made of spaghetti code and becomes unplayable in five or six years.

@@Elyseon I actually recommend Ironman because of this, because it autosaves all the time so you don't lose anything when the game crashes

@@hanneswiggenhorn2023 On the other hand, your whole run only has one save and there's always the remote chance of it getting corrupted. Or the game making you waste hours only to screw you over and ruin your run.

Yeah they should let you at least let you form the nation you want after getting one of it's important parts so you can take the rest of your cores, like letting you form Achaemenid empire after taking iraq or Afghanistan, Rome after getting France Arabia after getting saudi etc

You can really cheese things in civil wars because the AI gets their own brand new base focus tree meaning you can effectively double your economy if you just don't kill the revolter AI in their capital until they did their economy focuses which you then get cores on and get to enjoy

11:22 I think Japan democratic path is kinda strong, similar to germany because they can demand "protection" of british colonies, and also demand for Phillipines independence. If rejected then you know the rules, and so do I, but it mostly succeeds and is quite op, cuz no bloodshed for all the colonies japan wanted. And then at 100% you can justify against communist china or smth idk, not that much juice in it but still.

I think Iran might be the better pick in terms of resources, population, and especially leader bonuses. The fascist leader there has some spicy bonuses. Another bonus is because it borders the USSR, you can get multiple events about countering communism, which each grant +10% fascism support. Forming the Persian Empire requires fewer territories as well, but Turkey is one of them which means lots of pain and potentially war with the entire world. Afghanistan is also a pain in the ass to conquer, but mountaineer brigades with logistics company should handle that.

the Kurdistan achievement is actually super easy, only France can release Kurdistan so you have to start with france, in which case you just conquer the states and release all of Kurdistan with the play as thing ticked on
