You shouldn't start as the League of Eight Provinces to play as the Left KMT. Just select them in the start menu. That way you'll get some more events and stuff in the start

Yo, you should play the kx sub mod A rising dragon, they have anarchist guangxi, leftist legation cities and you can play as several city states after the legation city collapse, also taiwan too

The mod is broken as hell, I notice that LKMT always die in one second after popping up, so I play as them and realized the revolt start with 0 troops lmao. And also most of the focus tree are broken, what a shame since the mod is really ambitious

Both chiang kai shek and Mao are dead in kaiserreich. You can play as both their wives in kx though. You can also play as a resurrected chiang kai shek in kx.
