I like how within five minutes Stakuyi caused a race war with horse-bats, a Secession movement of the Southern States, Rebellions in the Western areas of Vanhoover and Las Pegasus, Conflict in the North with a race of shapeshifters who were crushed almost immediately and a genocidal campaign against the horse- bats. A comment on the Chiropterra video said that Nightmare Moon's rebellion was a child-friendly Horus Heresy and throughout this video Equestria rapidly became the Imperium of Man. I really wanted a video like this ever since I heard there was an event root to become Daybreaker because I knew Stakuyi would do this one perfectly. This video was everything I could have hoped for. Playing as the Lunar Empire in a future video would be a pretty fun event

Other countries burn their enemies with napalm. The Solar empire burns its enemies with a STAR. Will you do the Dread league next after it updates?

Damn. I love the way they turned thr Nightmare Moon event in MLP into a rebellion. In the show she was so powerful that she conquered parts of Equestria on her own.

As a side note, the presence of such an amazing choice of artwork in the thumbnail means stakuyi had to spend time browsing through pictures of Celestia to find just the right one. That's adorable.

Hey Stakuyi! I wrote Localization/focuses and stuff for the Pony Confederates! They gave the job to a Mississippi girl probably cause it seemed funny, but I was just happy to work in some historical stuff. The harmony route for them I wrote was gunslinging crusader cowboy goodguys a la Dark Tower, so there's also that. Glad you're having a zany time with the mod!

Suggestions for other Nations you should play. Lord Protector In the Griffonioan Empire: Which is the based bird Cromwell path and it's one of the hardest path in the game as you go full Order 66 and fight literally everyone to destroy the old rotten empire and replace it with a new one. Kingdom of Aquilea: You get a Bourbon- Napoleon bird gal and create a Griffion French empire or become the next French revolution. The Griffoian Republic: Basically Chiang Kai Shek mixed with Mao's long march. You can restore the republic or go full crazy nationalist. County of Bronzehill: The dogs can go full North Korea with a literal Kim il sung and Emperor worship or have dog Rosa Luxemburg take over. The Barrad Magocracy: A country full of op characters and crazy paths. Arcturian Order: Fight against the darkness of the approaching Dread League as a country of knights and get married.

At the beginning it was gonna be the first wholesome playthrough of the mod but it ended in My Little Holocaust.

It's Earth Ponies, Unicorns, and Pegasus. All three recognize themselves as different types of ponies. In ye olden pre-Equestria days, they were split into tribes with different cultures that all had tenuous relationship with each other. Equestria was formed when events occurred that forced them to band together into a more genuine unity.

I don't care about MLP at all but this mod is exactly what HOI4 mods should be. Fun unique different nation types on a brand new map so you can try them all out against each other.

Play the Lunar empire, you can mess the lore so much that Nightmare Moon (who canonically is essentially a tyrant) becomes an actuall good person. Also, is Luna´s "evil version" and the ruler of the thestrals, so you can do a good run by making sacrefices. Its literaly the ends justify the means. ALL HAIL THE MOON

The fact that this is a mod about a show for small children, and yet it is probably the single best total conversion mod out there is insane. Anyone from fanatic lovers of the show to people who only now knows what MLP is, this is definitely a mod for HoI4 players.

I wonder if he knows about that third option for Equstria where that one princes, not Luna nor Celestia, comes into a situation where the other two princesses disappear and tries to hold the nation together. When she couldn't, and everything falls apart, she snaps and develops a psychotic bloodlust where she will force friendship on everyone, even if it involves piles of ponies lying at her hooves. The icons for the focus tree looks like something out of a horror story. I was shocked when I came across that, and the expression she makes.

The three different sub-species of ponies are "Earth Ponies", "Unicorns", and "Pegasi". Earth ponies are basically normal horses, and make up the majority of the pony population. They tend to do a lot of the manual labor jobs since they're physically stronger than the other two types. Unicorns are the magically gifted ponies and tend to be among the higher-ranking members of society due to their abilities. Many of the more technical jobs are done by unicorns, as well as being members of the Royal Guard. Pegasi are the flying ponies, as you'd imagine, and usually live much of their lives within the sky, especially in cloud-based communities, since they're the only type that is able to actually walk on clouds. They also are the ones that make up the entirety of what is effectively Equestria's airforce, for obvious reasons. There are one final sub-species of pony known as "Alicorns". These are the rarest of all and have the abilities of all three types. One only becomes an alicorn through being given the honor of such by an existing alicorn, and they are the hierarchical rulers of Equestria. They also live extraordinarily long lives, possibly thousands of years. Celestia and Luna are alicorns, and they have been running Equestria for centuries.

When you play as Equestria again and Luna's bat pony decision pops up go middle (I believe in you Luna). After that go to the elements, then pick the bottom options for the civil war and resist Nightmare Moon. That's how you get both sisters into power. If you want Nightmare Moon don't pick anything for war support or any good political advisors cause it'll go to Celestia. Take focuses that won't help her and spend the political power on random stuff. Also you'll be constantly be navel invaded by her puppets. One more thing all these nations you saw in this (Eques) video will be remade from what I heard. I still recommend the Equestria at War Super Events mod (good art and quotes)

If you're looking for a 'nicer' playthrough then there's Harmonist (default) Hippogriffia - somewhat a similar start as you're a 'peaceful' nation but awoken by the drums of war like Equestria - a parallel to the US in WW2. There's also a few routes for that, including The Abyss... ;)
