The fact my city of Ternopil became the capital and not Lviv was amusing. Although it doesn't make sense since this "Galicia" region of Ukraine is extremely anti-Russian but are also not very warm to Zelensky and NATO.

MD mod could be so much better then it currently is imo. I think they focused to much on making the industry more realistic but I just think it is so annoying to do the missiles, nukes and satellites aswell as the economy

Right? Like I really like that you are able to use modern weapons like cruise missiles and shit, butr there must be a better way to this. Like i dont know how to code or whatever, so it might be a limitation by the game or the engine, but with larger countries it takes like 15 minutes to set up a missile strike that targets their entire country. Maybe they could use the air regions, idk but the way it is right now is way to complicated and tedious for me sadly.

The mod is a prime example of "less is more"; there are simply so many features in this mod that solely exist to add another layer of complexity without actually benefiting the experience.

@@MasterPro16 if you aren’t playing mp and you have all the time in the world this mod is very good, the AI is pretty realistic and i find a lot the extra features great its just that starting in 2000 and going to 2025 takes hours, by that time the Ai and player are extremely developed but all the features at that point take so much setup. Mp games lasting that long would he abysmal.

Ukraine start is actually really solid. You start with a decent airforce and alot of equipment. I believe its like 5k tanks and other stuff. You do lack small arms but its easy to get. As Ukraine you can easily get a big army and they have alot of building slots so u can just keep building.

I think , there is something wrong with this mod , because Ianukovich is from Eastern Ukraine and Petro Poroshenko is from Western Ukraine . So Ianukovich had to come into the game in the Eastern Ukraine . 9:00

I reallly really tried to play this Mod, but it's too slow, too complicated military, too much micro-management and too little individuality in the focus tree and especially the latter annoys me. When you play Vanilla today, you have for example as Spain or Turkey different option for fascist/communist ways, different military builds, even USSR has three different commie paths, USA has two distinct ways the democracy can behave, most colony owning democracies can choose between colony and decolonization while staying democratic. Meanwhile MD is like you either go full commie or full fascist or you have to pretend like being a moderate christian conservative feels different from going market liberal and so on. Most paths feel the same. I get why people play it in MP, but dude I just want a nice future scenario for my country distinct from all the others. "Oh no, look at me, I'm playing HOI4 MD, I just waited years for this slow ass game to complete a focus which says I legalized weed, this is so exciting, right?" Even Road to 56 has an AnCap Centralamerica. I'm not hating on it, but I really don't understand why people play this so much.

The mod is literally called "Millennium Dawn" God damit, why would a mod, which name literally refers to the year 2000 have a 2018 start date? It is so much more work to do multiple start dates. Even Paradox 1939 start date isnt as good as 1936..
