[HoI4] WW2 w/ Ultra Tech France & Italy [AI Timelapse]

In this HoI4 AI-only timelapse, we'll take a look at a scenario in which France and Italy are the giants of WW2 era. Both are given Ultra Tech - along with 50 Carrier IV's and 50 Battleship IV's. The timeline is set to a historical setting. Will Axis be able to subdue the Western Europe before Soviets break through from the East? If they do, dealing with Soviets with a much stronger Italy should be easy - if not - they will be crushed between the Allied powers and the Comintern.

If Hitler never declared on the Soviets I think Italy might of eventually been able to pull troops out of Africa and help Hitler defend the fatherland from the naval invasion.

Actually it’s the Japan’s fault for attacking Pearl Harbor without Germany’s support. If they waited 1-2 more years America would not have helped like they did and which means Britain and Canada would be the only ones invading for Normandy which would have been the biggest military fail ever.

Then Germany focuses 40% more troops on Russia then japan joins like they would have causing a revolution to save the remaining of Russia

@@TheKaiserJeremy you mean america wouldn't have provided britain and the ussr with supplies like they did even prior to pearl harbour? even if in a hypothetical situation d day was a massive failure (which is unlikely since the 3 beaches taken by the british and canadians were the most successful operations of the normandy landings), by 1943 with US lend lease the ussr was already pushing into german territory during operation bagration. germany could never have won regardless since they were already on the back foot by the normandy landings

I think you guys are talking about the real world while the original comment is about the game scenario. Mostly cause you guys mentioned Normandy and, in this scenario, there is no naval invasion of Normandy cause the French never fell in mainland Europe.

Actually if you notice in the video the only reason they lost was because of Germany declaring war on the Soviet Union. Otherwise Italy and Germany were very much ahead compared to France.

I have an idea, you do a super germany but when they almost capitulate soviets you go in and buff the soviets and make them super. A really back and forth, then possibly remove their buff once germany almost capitulates.

Video Idea: Unite South America, Africa, Oceania, and Scandanavia into one faction, give them a ton of manpower, and see if they can beat the rest of the world. If this will not work, can you please tell me why?

By the way, Italy lost 19.8 million men, or almost 1/2 of their pre-war population. Some of the demographic implications of these replays are going to be immense.
