Really great American record that puts you in the scene of LA. It’s beauty, it’s fun, it’s sadder moments, and a never ending sunset on the beach. That’s what Celebrity Skin reminds me of. Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers was nothing like this power pop record ( but Kiedis used the same concept )

she has almost become exactly everything she supposedly lived against, sang against, spoke in interviews against..kurt (whom she shap shifted into a female version of him) is turning in his grave that he was fooled by this maria carrie/angelina joke of a celeb. even in her own words (a hole documentary) she cares more about letting the interviewer know how many versace shoes she has and how much they cost then any "rock revolution" or any "woman movement" or music in general

agreed. i think most people know by now courtney wanted to be famous and rich and music was just a road she choose to sleeze her way in. via hooking up with talented famous musicians. she herself posed as the grunge chick but soon as grunge died she went hollywood. now she is concerned with attention, fasion labels (top line only) basically she is and always wanted to be the thing she got famous preaching against. she is as phony as the come but you are right she has a talent for digging.

her grunge act, her miss world act, her grungy beauty queen, the i am woman hear me roar the whole courtney love image..well her first image was all an act, all lies to get her to the top. her image, persona, music was all calculated and she got alot of you. she completely lied, fooled you guys and like the sheep she hoped youd be you all fell for it and ate it up

Right, so I guess everyone has to stay the same and never grow. It’s a part of life to transform and change. So many people get their knickers in a knot about her grunge days to her glamour days. There is no rule saying you have to stay the same! When fashion changes from 80s to 90’s to then 2000. We all change. I think it’s inspiring that she didn’t just sit in her pain forever and bloomed into another version of herself the grit and screams are still all in there no matter what she is wearing.

she has almost no talent, her lyrics are ehhh and she cant write music. her philosophy and style are all whatever is at that time what will get her more money and fame. if needle point put you on tv and a mill in your pocket she would be sleeping with the needle point champion. and that voice, sounds like 1000 feet dying at once
