That looks absolutely scrumptious! I also just loved your description of what makes the best Thanksgiving pie: the one of which you can eat two servings, one right after another. Yes, pumpkin is so heavy that you’re generally stuffed after one slice. No bueno.

Scott's "It tastes like chicken" cracked me up. That's the universal answer when people ask what an unfamiliar food (like alligator, snake or frog legs..lol) taste like. 😁 The orange zest was a great addition. I always add mandarin oranges to my homemade whole cranberry sauce.
