Holiday makes for May...made

an update on my three makes for my Lake District holiday, including the wonky neckline on my fleece!
I made a McCalls M8143 half zip fleece, with leopard print plush from Minerva, a pair of Closet Core Pietra pants in chambray from a Sew Hayley Jane box and a Cashmerette Haskell Shirt again using fabric from a Sew Hayley Jane box.
I also made a lovely matching set of awash bag and a make up bag and a sewing set using kits from Owl and Sewing Cat.

Thank you so much. I loved making the shirt, not made one before so it was fun to try that weird "burrito" method. The Pietra Pants came together really quick and I've forgiven the leopard top for its awful zip😂😂😂😂

You are so right. Those lakes are full of rainwater 😂. The forecast is rain when I'm there, but it doesn't rain in fabric shops and I've got a waterproof coat so I'll still be enjoying myself 😁😁😁😁

Oh you do make me laugh 😂 I love watching your videos. Loved your holiday makes. The shirt looks fabulous. I also have that fabric from a previous sewhayleyjane box and I made the stylearc Hope dress. When I first received the fabric I wasn't too sure about it but I've had loads of comments on the dress when I wear it. The two wash bags are great as is the sewing pouch and scissors holder. Perfect for travelling. The jumper/fleece looks really cosy and as the previous lady said no one will notice the zip top. You have done a great job. I'm inspired to get on with some sewing now. Especially now we have a bit of sunshine in England. Enjoy your hols.

Hello Kay! I'm so happy to have stumbled upon your videos. I love the Pietra Pants also. I have recently made a pair in a Ponte knit (even though it is a woven pattern) and they came out beautifully! Highly recommend. I have subscribed and look forward to your future videos!
