Mellie kann man nie unvergessen machen, auch wenn Coca Cola nach dem Flugzeugunfall alle Werbespots sofort absetzte. Eigentlich war es die völlig verkehrte Antwort. Melanie ist es egal, aber ein wenig mehr Anstand wäre schon OK gewesen.

The Kingdom Choir did great! But the nasal vocals by Camelia Jordana absolutely make me cringe. Should've been the choir only. Or just use the Melanie Thornton version. Why is there no nod to her?

Pippeloentje You're absolutely right ... It's a great "cover" but 1:11 cringes the shit out of me. I would say that it is'nt her fault. You can clearly hear that the echo and the unnormal sounding vocals are bad used effects put afterwards over the audio.

You're both being harsh. She doesn't sound bad at ALL and she's not in it for long. Also it's obvious she had a cleft lip. Probably had a correct palate too as a kid and so that nasality may be unavoidable for to facial/none structure. More importantly, nasality is actually a vocal quality that is useful in singing aka twang aka singing in the mask. You say it like nasality is a bad thing. Many singers are famous BECAUSE of that. Whitney used a LOT of it.

I can not understand why Coca Cola does a remix of this song. In my eyes it can not be in the sense of Melanie Thornton. That was the end effect of her song and then to occupy it with others (who certainly can not help it), I can not understand. Anyone can judge for themselves but I do not think that I'm the only one.
