It's not bitterness of the planet, it's bitterness of the humans who have taken over and claimed it their own, when in fact this planet does not belong to us. It pains me to see the damage that has come to the Earth since humans arrived! I love Sarah for being positive in the midst of the world's pain. If it weren't for people like her, this world really would be screwed (for lack of a better term). Happy Colours I collect gemstones not just for their beauty, but where they came from and how they grew and how they formed and how each one is unique and how each one has come from amazing places in the earth. Each and every one is different in their own way. When I look at my gemstones I think about how they grew, where they grew, how long they've been here on the earth, there's just so much meaning and value to these things.

That's a very interesting point of view, and one that I can't say I've ever thought of. Fortunately, I think many of us treasure our crystals and gems, whether we know their true significance, history, depth, spiritual benefit, and/or science behind them. I certainly don't know everything there is to know about all of my pieces, but I treasure them all and seek to learn more while I reap the energy boost and balance. Even your average woman with a diamond engagement ring doesn't understand the potential inside the little rock on her finger, but she benefits. Have you ever noticed that women who wear their engagement ring (and band) well into their marriage seem to be happier with their relationship and life in general? I personally think it may have at least a little to do with the crystallographic nature of the materials she keeps against the skin of her finger. Even the gold that has long since lost its crystal lattice still retains a little benefit, if nothing more than psychological awe of its beauty and rarity. Fortunately, it seems to me at least, that the crystal, mineralogical, metaphysical, geological communities and more seem to be growing. It's a huge field, and I think that every day more people are becoming aware of the magic (scientific or otherwise) that hides within these precious pieces of our earth's heart

Ok, here's something to consider...we all innately have the power to connect to healing, higher consciousness within us, without giving money to big businesses who take from a finite resource, from Mother Earth.Thats an illusion they would like us to not see through, because it keeps their financial wheels turning.People have stated they, ' love and take care of their crystals and think they are beautiful.' ...love and take care of yourselves, because you are beautiful, you are enough as you are and dont actually need props, or spend money to know that.Look for actual Truth and one sure fire way is to see if someone is making financial gain in the process,if they are, it isn't Truth, just an illusion.We are all special, we are all love and we are all enough...no amount of name calling or bullying will have an affect on you, once you understand this, no one will be able to make you feel less than you innately are, once you find this truth.Its wonderful people have responded to my original comment, keep thinking, keep searching, you will know when you have found it...and it will only cost your time and effort.
