Holley Sniper EFI Installation on Early Bronco

Here is a video of installing the Sniper EFI on my Early Bronco. I lost this footage for over a year. I thought it was gone forever, but I finally found it and edited it. I hope this is helpful if you are installing one.

I have a 76 Trans Am I thought about putting the same thing on it. Good video. I have one suggestion for you and this is coming from one bad experience and a lesson well-learned. Put a clean rag or duct tape across your intake hole. I was putting studs in a intake years ago and accidentally dropped the friggin stud down into the intake and it made its way down into the head. So it caused me some unnecessary work

I’d like to do that to my 70 Chevelle, 86 sbc to get rid of the carb.....

James Cone Yes, I’m still running Sniper EFI. I still think it’s the best entry level fuel injection system. I was unsure for awhile, but after hearing from some FITech owners, I think the Holley system is better.

Zak H I definitely like it more than a carburetor. If I had it to do over again, I think I would go with the Edelbrock Pro-Flo. Multi port fuel injection is better than throttle body. It’s a little more expensive, but comes with intake and distributer.

Hector Ortega It was on it when I got the Bronco. I like the simplicity of an HEI, but you are right. They are big and ugly. I would love to get a Holley Dual Sync for it. They are pricey though. It will probably be awhile before it’s in the budget.
