I'm about an hour south of y'all. Your seed starting rack is definitely on my 'to do' list. Last year I left my seed trays on the ground only to have them trounced on by our resident sandhill cranes during their daily bug hunt. Learned my lesson and using a makeshift table with sawhorses and plywood. By 10 or 11am the sun is too intense though & the whole set up has to moved to dappled shade. Your 40% shade is the perfect solution.

I really love my Seed Starting Area. It’s my favorite area of the entire garden complex. I spend a lot of time there. We have a lot of Sand Hill Cranes here too. I think they are beautiful. I love hearing them as they fly over. “Ribeye in the Sky” 😂

Great tour. It's all coming together. Very impressive. Amazing how thoughtful and clever design will create a sustainable system. I wish I had land to do these things myself. I'm keeping it all in mind, in case I reach a point where I can do some of these things on a smaller scale. I really enjoy watching you create these systems on your homestead. I hope a lot of people are starting gardens in whatever capacity they can, and using as many of your ideas as they can, to help ensure their own success. You are a treasure.

Only thing missing is a tray filling bin or rack for quickly filling all those trays and not wasting the starting material (like u see in greenhouses). Nice setup. 👍🏻
