3 months ago, I suddenly decided to pack my bags and go on an adventure. Within a couple of weeks, I had quit my job, told a landlord I would no longer be needing their rental and booked a plane ticket to Costa Rica. I had no plans other than a one week stay at a hostel after my arrival - the rest of my time was an open book. Well, it has been (and is) such an incredible journey. I've met so many wonderful people and done some amazing things over these last 3 months. Memories for a lifetime. I have no plans to go back to London anytime soon. I am excited to see what lies ahead! This song reminds me that I am living one hell of a life :)

For many, this song gives the urge to travel far and wide and create a new life abroad. For me, however, it reminds me of how lucky I am to have so many beautiful places right on my doorstep. I'm at my lowest times, depression comes and goes and comes again. In late August, I bought a backpack and hit the road. Just me and my backpack travelled 3 citys in 2 weeks. It was firsts for me in many ways. I'm hoping won't be the lasts. Right now I have to work but when the time comes I will leave for good and this time it will be me, my backpack and my motorcycle.
