My favorite part of the whole interview was Kerry Washington and Elizabeth Moss talking to Monica Potter about her character and the wig. They so obviously watched Parenthood and I love that. Always in these roundtables. When actors love each others work and know about it because they've seen it. Amazing to see.

Kerry Washington graduate at the top of her class from George Washington University with a double major in in anthropology and sociology so I'm pretty sure she is very well educated and her show Scandal is one of the best shows on abc it has nothing to due with race she is just an amazing actress I suggest you go look at Night Catches Us or Mother and Child where critics praise her as an outstanding actress and it is clear why You should be happy that us blacks have a beautiful educated smart...

@My youtube why did that trigger you...wow...you must be a white woman or (white identifying) .Dr King had a dream right, and Mrs Washington embodies that dream...look at her last name, that name is not from her ancestral lineage....but she overcame right...aren't black Americans always being told "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" stop blaming others...well this beautiful black woman did...and for one I am proud of her, and many woman like her

Ever went to college? Kerry is nothing but class. She could have said, "not only did I go, but I graduated Suma Cum Laude, from one of the most prestigious Univ in the country." In addition, I gave the Commencement Address to the graduating class of 2013." But, like I said, the lady is class personified.

I love these interviewers, they ask questions and then let the actors talk, they don't cut in, but if they know it is going to get quiet and awkward, they jump in and ask another question.

NUBELUZ wasn't a "mexican game show" Ms Potter, it was a PERUVIAN game show, and actually it was the biggest kids show made in Latin America and it was sold to a lot of countries around the world and very popular for so many years. If you you worked there (like you say), you should know the difference between Mexican and Peruvian. When are all you gringos learn some basic geography?...Im sure you love it when people call you Canadian or British, right?

Agreed! Caught her flub. She said it was in Mexico (central America) but then later changed it to Peru (south America). No one bothered to correct her because it would be rude guess. Everyone on this continent is AN AMERICAN. It is soooo annoying when certain folks are ignorant and USA centric.

Kurmi JESUS, relax. Calling it a Mexican game show is like calling something a "spanish soap opera" or a "Bollywood" film. It has it's own meaning BEYOND the literal. We all know what she meant, stop being so damn sensitive. People are oblivious to a lot, we'd all be better off it we stopped bitching and moaning about everyone not being POLITICALLY CORRECT. Also, she WAS on the cast of the US version shot in Peru, but - like she said - it never got picked up.

+galemoy No, "Mexican" dosn't have its own meaning besides, you know, being from Mexico. If want to use a broader expression you can "Latin American game show". She sounded very ignorant. Mexico isn't even close to Peru. It's like calling Japanese people Chinese and vice versa, so actually offensive.

Call me crazy but the other actresses seemed intimidated by Kerry. And I feel like Kerry was a bit uncomfortable but she usually very talkative in her interviews but it seemed like she didn't want to talk at all. I was very happy she brought up the issue about not getting jobs because she is black because if she didn't I don't think the interviewers would have. It was like they were waiting for her to say something. I think white people in general are thrown off my educated well spoken blacks

@@DaveEfinSan I just watched it again and it’s even more painful to watch. None of them have to deal with what she has to deal with as a black woman in Hollywood. They can’t relate. Monica Potter is talking about a job she didn’t get, when she deliberately sabotaged herself by eating whatever she wants and not taking care of her body, but then goes into a audition with that possibly being the only thing that could hold her back. But like Kerry said, she can lose weight of gain weight but she can’t change her skin. I can’t stand their fake surprise that people don’t want her because she’s ethnic. They all know that happens and it benefits them as white women.

Out of the few roundtable interviews I have watched this has got to be the worst, I couldn't even finish it. The actresses were awesome, the interviewers questions were awful. Where was the depth? Did anyone else think that?

I think its amazing Kerry Washington has her degree, I think its kind of sad the rest don't..so many of us work our butts of getting this education and can't find work, when people with no degrees getting great work! But salute to all these actresses..

I have a degree, but honestly education is as important as what you do with it. These days I would only suggest that they get further education when they know exactly what they want to do. Besides artists, there are just folks who could do with a factory job.

nothing wrong with not going to college especially these days. most people can get a good job with out going to college. Also just because someone didnt go to college doesnt mean they didnt work their asses off and going ot college doesnt always mean you worked your ass off. I never had money growing up and worked my ass off but i know kids who came from money and jsut took advantage of it. Some of these girls chased their dreams of becoming as actress and i agree it would be stupid to not have a backup plan, but unless you plan on acting in theater college really does nothing but put you in debt. If you have it you have it, collage isnt going to make much of a difference.

Connie Britton actually graduated from Dartmouth with a degree in Chinese. You can kind of hear her saying yes when Monica asked If they went to college. But she's talked about it in other interviews. Obviously, the Chinese has been very helpful in her acting career lolol

First, I don't like how the guy seemed to be short with Kerry whenever she spoke. Loved seeing and hearing everyone's stories tho. I wish it could've just been them talking amongst themselves, rather than being asked questions that none of them seemed to relate to. Still enjoyed everyone tho.
