I really love this pedal but it is extremely pricey. Hologram makes some really innovative stuff though. I’m sure it’s worth the money if you have it to spend.

Ernest Tenderly are you in the UK? I had to pay £100 import duty on the pedal to get it through customs so id take £350. Its immaculate and has been used no more than 10 times in the house

Hey Andy, since the first video you made for reverb, you've got a weird glitch going on your voice... sounds like you've got something stuck in your throat, I first thought you were ill, but it definitely sounds unnatural, like your voice is going through an octaver pedal that struggles tracking. Quite disturbing to listen to.

I skipped around a bunch of older and newer pedal demos, and it seems like the warble has always been there. Maybe the cold has just made it more noticeable lately? Laurent Toussaint is right though, one aspect of your voice does sound a bit like a pitch effect. It's the guitar-pedal-world equivalent of the Mandela Effect or the Berenstain/Berenstein Bears conspiracy. Several people (myself included) are simultaneously misremembering what you sound like, which is admittedly kind of spooky.

This likely isn't a new comment regarding loss of guitar tone with Hologram pedals, but in this demo, the guitar turns from sounding quite sweet au naturel, to a harsh, biting, irritating tone when the Infinite Jets are used... aargh!

Andy - you're the best. However, for $425 I'm totally unimpressed. I don't feel they have really forged new ground here, just repackaged and marked up somewhat interesting tones.

These reviews really need context - instead of promoting the attributes of a pedal autonomously from others - we should really understand it in relationship to the entire pantheon of its predecessors.

Its not about "recommending an alternative", its about: musicians cant buy 400$ or even over 200$ pedals. pedal companies should learn this since the capacitors and resistors inside are only worth like 5 dollars

St. Evan's Chapel - I think you start with the EHX freeze and Superego. Or, a lot of combo delays have great hold functions. The Eventide time factor has a decent one. My favorite is the hold function on the Boss RV 500. I think you could probably get a lot of similar textures with a hold function. Also, EHX Superego plus looks pretty sweet

not sure why riff type playing is used to demo pedals like this, when they can be used as instruments, if one is to respond to them and ignore “song making” etc and cute stuff. these demos are more about cute songs; not a complete library of sound capabilities.
