Laughing would be a much bigger threat for me because I don't scream. I'm not tough, just defective. When I'm scared/startled/etc I go quite. The effort normal people would have to put in to hold a scream back is what I'd have to put in to produce said scream. Anyone else like this?

Iirc she once said when playing horror game she expected to get jumpscared so she mentally prepared herself. In a game where you dont expected to get scared, like creeper suddenly appear behind you in minecraft, she at least will scream in suprise. She also scream in surprise during her re village speedrun coz there is one enemy that didnt appear in lower difficulty so she didnt prepared there is a monster in that spot

My guess is Botan used to be a pro-gamer. Her nerves had been trained through thousand of hours of intense and stressful gameplay that once she sets gets her guards up, nothing would surprise her and when something DOES surprised her, she headshots it by reflex.

I remember in Payday 2, there's an achievement for completing a certain Stealth Only heist while using the Minigun and the Rocket Launcher as your only firearms. That's the vibe Botan's giving me right now. Sneaking around and marking enemies while holding a Bazooka at the ready.

Somebody REALLY needs to make a "Don't Laugh" with all sorts of random goofy and stupid stuff. Instead of "detecting a laugh", it should make the player repeat a phrase or sound. If they can't (because of laughing), it counts as a loss.
