Holy Spirit Object Lesson

Proverbs 16:9, Proverbs 3:5-6, Psalm 32:8, Isaiah 58:11, James 1:5
Tips:
-You need a perfectly round vase. If the vase is shaped oddly it will not work well.
-Direct view. You will need to be directly in front of the vase to see the effect. When I do this for a larger audience, I slowly slide the arrow left and right following the curve of the vase so everyone can view it.
-Move the arrow towards or away from the vase until you see the change. Then mark the location and distance needed to make the effect.
-Depending on the lesson you might want to use objects in place of using words.

Hello tanyapolanco3605, the container has to be perfectly round and the arrow needs to be the right distance away. Hope that helps!

Well, this would have been great to do, but with no instructions on how to do it, I could not figure it out. I even checked the website but could not find any place to search for anything.

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. Hopefully this will help... 1) You need a perfectly round container. 2) Move the arrow closer or further back until you can see it clearly. 3) Try it beforehand with water in the container, and mark the location of the arrow and the container. Hopefully that will work for you!

Hi! I can not get the arrow to flip the opposite direction, lol, what am I missing?

Hello Heather, try the following... 1) You need a perfectly round cylinder. Other shapes won't work. 2) Try adjusting the distance between the arrow and the vase. Sometimes it works better if the image is closer or farther away depending on the vase. Hope that helps. Please let me know if you still have trouble.
