Hello! I came across this video as I was brainstorming for a message I am giving at a youth retreat at the camp I work at. I love it! I have been scouring google to figure out how to make my own endless water bowl and I can only find where to buy one. Did you make your own? If so, would you be willing to share how you did so?
@cmbible
@cmbible 7 ай бұрын
Hello, I'm so glad you enjoyed this object lesson! I bought these bowls from a magic shop years ago. I couldn't even tell you where I got them now, sorry. I'm sure you can find these online, but have no idea the cost. It might be possible to make your own. The concept behind the trick is that the bowls are hollow on the inside. Like 2 bowls sealed together with an air pocket between the walls of the bowl. There is a little hole on the top outside and one on the inside, opposite end. You fill the hollowed inner wall of the bowl with water by submerging under water. The trick happens like this: When you want water to come out, you uncover the little hole on the outside of the bowl. When you don't want water to come out, you cover the little hole with your finger to create a vacuum. The other little hole on the opposite side of the bowl, is where the water comes out. So 2 holes in the side of the bowl, one to create the vacuum, and the other for the release of water. Hope that makes sense. If you need any extra help, further description, or pictures explaining what I mean, let me know, happy to help!

How do you be connected to jesus
@cmbible
@cmbible Жыл бұрын
Good to hear from you! The simple answer to your question is to obey God's commandments and love people. Jesus tells us in John 15 He is the vine and to abide in Him. He further goes on to say that obeying God's commandments and loving others is abiding in Him. I tell the kids to abiding in Jesus means to copy Jesus. We should be doing the things He did. If Jesus did it, we need to do it too. When we do the things Jesus did, we abide in Him. Hope that helps. If you want to discuss this in greater detail, I am happy too. Just let me know. May our Heavenly Father shine His face upon you and give you His peace.

@cmbible How do you love people who treat you poorly. I have been treated like crap by people and even in the church. It affected my mental health. It's hard for me to even show love to others. Every person kind of turned on me, even my own family. How can you show love when you don't know love?

GOD loves you all, GOD bless you all in JESUS name John 3:16:21 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”, ”Romans10-9:12 "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him." Luke 13-2:3""Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? 3| tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish."have trust and faith in GOD✝️❤️🍞🍷

Thank you, I will use this in my Sunday school lesson this week. I would even go a step further and have another person volunteer to take the water over the head representing Jesus taking our punishment: "with his stripes we are healed." This guy is so creative 👏👏👏 There's so many Bible object lessons on KZfaq and in my humble opinion, he is the best!

Good lesson. Only criticism is that it seemed like the kid was too old/mature for the basicality of it, the way he kept finishing your sentences, saying, "Yep", and looking like he was bored and ready to move on. I personally believe that early preschool would be a better time to teach it, but better to teach it than not to...I even know some 40, 50, 60-year-olds who need this lesson! Lol...
