Jon, i feel like you are my fraternal twin! Never heard of you before, but because i too, am looking to build a ski slope (for “the kids” of course😉), that video popped up in my queue! We live on the Columbia River (famous Columbia River Gorge which is state border where I live separating Washington and Oregon), and I’ve been dying to attempt building an epic ski slope (& a baby jump for starters) that starts at the top of our boat ramp & ends w a Columbia River Gorge “cold dip” (for “circulation” & health benefits)! 😂 I need to do more ground work (yep, have John Deere tractor, plus commercial grade compactor that does slopes…although hubby not so thrilled w my purchase on that one 😂 $.)! Question: why are you not building yours into the water? Btw love the house. Want to find out more about it. We are looking to replace the 1500ft cinder block house from 1960!

Suggestion: Hire the people who took the playground apart to put it back together again. They know how to do it safely and quickly. Even if you think you know how to do it, it's more than a 1 person job and it won't be sitting around in pieces forever.

It is starting to look like Jon having issues. The way I see things evolving from now: - Jon buys more stuff - 70% of that stuff will never be used and left piled across the whole property - Jon and Janni starts a favouritism competition, eventually ending up not talking to each other for the rest of their lives - Eventually Jon stops socializing and hoards even more only occasionally leaving the property. 🤷🏻‍♂️
