Fasten your seatbelts for a special edition of my home concert series. After 2018 and 2021 I am celebrating my birthday again with a three hours long Ambient session live from my studio. I prepared a few sounds and sequences but most of the music will be improvised and recorded during the stream.

Martin Sturtzer is one of my favourite ambient artists in that you can drop the needle anywhere on his performances and they sound great. He's very consistent with his quality.

Takes a special talent to do ambient just right imho. It’s very easy to go to far or not far enough , nailing the complexity , conveying just the right emotion (and I’m operating under the possibly quite flawed notion that all Ambient music should convey a similar emotion. Just how I believe. Many have dabbled into it from other genres , but I’ve seen few pull it off. Even more impressive is anyone pulling off fusion of their style. I’d reccomed BT’s 1.618 from the album “this binary universe “ it’s truly a Triumph.

Get a dimmer switch for your lava lamp. I have no idea why they don't come with them, but as an owner of a number of lava lamps I can attest that not only will the actual lamp live indefinitely if you run it at 70-85% voltage, but you will almost never have to replace the bulb. Planned Obsolescence of light bulbs is calculated at 100% voltage, and reducing it even by 10% - the Wolfram spiral will live 3-4 times longer. Also, tweaking the voltage allows for more organic shapes of flowing wax, so it no longer looks like eggs being boiled in a Pyrex pot LOL. And yeah, great studio. And Ambient.

Moi qui a eu 67 ans ce 10/07/2023 j’aurais jamais pensé de ma vie, qu’un jour avant de mourir j’assisterais à un concert du plus profond de mon île ( Océan Indien ) en compagnie de ma femme auprès de ma piscine, voir et écouter un Grand Artiste jouer sur autant de claviers en direct depuis l’Allemagne ! Les gens ne font plus attention à cette grande évolution technique dans laquelle nous vivons, comme ci cela a toujours existé ! Merci pour ce beau moment en ce mémorable jour du 15 août ! ❤️💐

Je pense que je comprends mais je veux être clair. Qu'entendez-vous par « cela a toujours existé » ? Je suis en train de prendre conscience du monde dans lequel nous vivons, et ce depuis 2009. Les dernières années ont été une véritable révélation, car je crois que le voile est en train de se lever pour que nous puissions tous le voir. Mais vous avez raison, tout le monde ne le voit pas. Je découvre l'histoire de votre pays, qui est remarquable, et les mondialistes veulent tout effacer, comme si elle n'avait jamais existé. C'est dégoûtant de leur part. Nous ne pouvons pas leur permettre de s'en tirer sans problème.

This is beautiful music to my ears, so ethereal, very calming & takes me to another magical realm. ❤ Was listening to one of your @ home concerts & it put right to sleep. Been listening to TD, SA, Vagelis, JMJ, Schiller & Madis, but your right there over the top w/the best of them. Found someone on YT back in 2019 when recovering fr/car accident who not only does ambient, but house, deep house & who is an improv instrumentalist named Reinhardt Buhr who is now on FB. You might want to check him out, don't know if you've heard of him. He is not you, but is fantastic in his own right. His music 🎶 hepled me get thru rehab & to recover faster; wish I found you back then too! Music is soothing to the soul & you are a very creative force. Love ❤ your work.

Hey Martin, this might be my favourite ambient live set so far. ps. Belgian beer tastes >much< better out of the glass designed by the producer intended for that exact beer - each glass has a special design angle intended so that the sheer act of pouring and bubbling releases extra flavours ;)
