nice setup. cardboard is great for prototyping, don't let anyone sour your mood because of that. My panel was cardboard for over a year before I finally committed to make something more sturdy 😂 ..and my headtracker is still cardboard. 2 years now.

I ended up drawing a panel in CAD and having the steel panel custom made and shipped to me for $250.

I love it! it looks absolutely awesome, consider spending about a day and 20 dollars on a USB hub so that you can easily switch around yokes and throttles and whatnot whenever you want very easily! It will make your life so much easier

u ever thinking of getting an actual monitor for primary flight display and ND?? cuz they look a little small for me but great set up and i cant wait for the mini fcu either
@IowaHammer9 ай бұрын
Awesome.. How did you get your FIP's to display different than what they came with? I have not been able to use anything but the OEM displays with them...

I was really impressed until I realized you don't have the coffee holder on the left.

Hey! How did you manage to get the avionics of other aircraft to work on those saitek basic square instruments? I would be really interested; looks like a super awesome cheap solution. Or they just work plug n play, cause i don‘t think😂. Thanks

Why not a moving platform with actuators? I am thinking of building a simulator. I do not see a lot of you guys using moving platforms. Are they too costly to build?

For what you’re spending on this stuff you could probably earn a commercial pilot licence.

The money spent on this toy would have gone a long way toward learning how to fly the real thing.
