Individually, they are all amazing singers. But, let's face it, great singers are a dime-a-dozen. Just look at KZfaq... they're EVERYWHERE. Where Home Free TRULY shines is when they sing together. That is when they are UNBEATABLE.

Guys try contacting Austin Brown or Tim Faust those two seem to do the most interviews. They both have Instagram. They each sing lead. In each song and decide which one of them should lead. You really should know them Tim is the Bass, Chance is the Baritone, Rob bread/glasses Lead tenor, Austin high tenor, Adam Beatboxer. You should check out Butts Medley/Remix, Down to the Honky-tonk, Thank God I'm a Country Boy. Tim has 5 octave range and Chance has a 4 Octave range, When Tim sings Chance does Bass and sometimes they will do double Bass. Great reaction guys!!! You need to react to Mayday, and Heaven, When a Man Loves a Woman these songs are AWESOME

Hey my UK brothers, I'll start with your podcast - I listen on Google podcasts and it's always awesome. Definity reach out to Tim Foust (the bass) and Austin Brown (high tenor) they both have done reactor interviews...definitely reach out to them. As for Bless the broken road...not only is their cover exceptional & I'd say better than the original (written by & performed on their 1994 album) The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, but I think is better than the Rascal Flatts 2003 cover. But guys definitely reach out to Austin & Tim...one might be able to do a short interview !

Agreed Austin and Tim are the easiest to connect with and barring a schedule conflict with current tour they would be more than happy to do an interview. It's much harder to get the 5 together they all live cross the US and except for touring are not always together they record remotely from their individual homes allowing for family time in a very hectic schedule.

You are surprisingly correct - Rob (Lundquist) is thee ORIGINAL LEAD SINGER from way back (2004. or so) and sweet as sugar Mid Tenor ! The others are merely INCREDIBLE IN THEIR RANGE AND REGISTERS ..... although all are Phenomenal Vocal talents ! Welcome to The way and welcome of Home Free - Home Fry, jj

Thanks for your reaction. Another winner by Home Free! These guys don't need any props or theatrics just their beautiful voices to harmonize. Rob & Austin in their tenor voices, Tim & Chance carrying the bass, and then Adam adds the finishing touches with his tasteful beatboxing. You are right, they pick the person best suited for each song. And Adam's vocal percussion is the glue that makes this group unique in their sound.

Hello gentlemen. Loving watching all your reactions. In regards to Home Free, I just recently watched a Q&A that they did back I believe when lock down first occurred in 2020 and one of the questions that was asked was relevant to what you were asking. Since they are all so talented, how do they decide who is going to be lead? Their response was that they all go into the recording studio (at their own leisure) and record the song(s) they are going to be doing, then they all get together to listen and then decide who sounded the best to convey the emotion that they want. They then will practice the parts that they need to before recording together. Of course COVID changed things and they all had to learn to record themselves with home equipment and send it to their mixing team to splice and dice their content that they continued to make while being distant. These men are brothers (from other mother's) : ) and all I have seen, not one of them have ego's or feel that they are better than any of the others and that they should be the lead for all the songs. You all should like and subscribe to their channel too.

I can't say who has the best voice either. They are all great. It really depends on the song and the voice that suits it best. But what is with me is that the voice Rob (with beard and glasses) comes to me the most. Sometimes it just gives me a shiver. A voice like velvet, so soulfull But the harmonies, the collaboration, the background, the inhuman Adam Rupp that makes it perfect

Thank you for another countrified reaction. According to HF, they all take a shot at singing a new song and then decide who sounds best suited to the song. When you consider all soloists or bands rely on musical instrumentation to back up or fill in absent of lyrics when doing original recordings, and then an A Capella band does covers of those originals using their voices not only to perform the lead lyrics but also perform and replace the musical instrumentation parts at a level where you do not even notice or miss the musical instrumentation parts, I believe requires such exceptional talent and skill that very few artists achieve. For HF or PTX to mostly upgrade most successful artists originals, is testimony how truly great these A Capella groups are. Although there are great musicians, for me the unbelievable quality and versatility of the human voice is unsurpassed. Who needs a real drummer, bass guitarist, harmonica player, keyboard or piano player, when the human voice can actually mimic or replace them as Home Free and Pentatonix can do?

This is beautiful. Home Free tends to let all the singers try a song and then decide who best fits the song. There are no lead singers. They are all super talented and all are doing songs independent of the group. Tim (short hair with gray) - bass, Chance (short dark hair) - baritone/bass, Rob (glasses) lead tenor, Austin (reddish hair) high tenor, Adam - beatboxer. To hear Tim Foust use his 5 octave range listen to Will You Still Love Me/Stay. To hear Austin Brown sing a Broadway tune listen to Bring Him Home. To hear Adam Chance (Chance) sing listen to Hurt (with the Hound + Fox). Adam Rupp Drum Solo (2015) is a must see. Good reaction lads.

If you guys appreciate them and want to have them on a podcast how about learning their names? The "guy with the glasses" is Rob Lundquist,. The "guy with the shirt you'd wear" is Austin Brown. The low bass is Tim Foust. The baritone is Adam Chance who goes by Chance so as not to be confused with the beat boxer, Adam Rupp, one of the founders of the band.

As a non country music fan listening to Home Free and their harmonies is like wrapping myself in a warm fleece blanket. I rarely have gone back to the original because I always preferred their version. Austin and Tim have done interviews with KZfaq reactors. Actually, they discus which songs they do among themselves and figure out who's voice fits the song. I think that is why they have such a feel for their performances. They all have to agree to the songs. They cooperate and so the performance hangs together. I have sensed over the years that they have fewer ego problems than many groups and sincerely love working together. They also are prone to help lesser known performers like Texas Hill and Jeffery East by including them in some of their videos. They seem to be generous about sharing the spotlight to others.

Nice reaction. If you go to Paste Magazine KZfaq channel, Home Free did a live performance / interview in their studio. Tim Foust explains how they pick the leads for their music. They all record the entire song separately and afterwards decide which voice or voices fit best. Even on the songs that Tim has written he doesn't always take the lead himself. Paste Magazine has a playlist with the three songs that Home Free performed separately from the interview itself.

I wouldn't say any of the guys are better than the others, but they are all the best at their own trades and skills, and in my personal opinion the best there are. Period. Individually they could all stand alone, and some of them do do solo stuff as a side "hobby". They can pair either two of their voices together and it sounds amazing, but there are voices they pair together more often than others. I guess you have to keep reacting to them to find out more 😁😜 So Alex, will there be a Home Free playlist on your wedding? 😉😍 I know which song you should do next, Countrified Pop Medley, I mean, it's Countrified so how could you not, and although it's pop based so you might not recognise all the songs, but I can assure you will have fun and be amazed. 17 songs, 15 artists arranged together by Austin. Thanks, guys! 😍🙏

I've heard Tim (bass) and Austin (high tenor) say in interviews that they'd like to get back to the UK to tour sometime in the not too distant future. Not sure when or if the guys know yet. One of the other commenters may have more info on that. I'm still going to suggest their mash-up of "Woman, Amen/Female" or for a non-country cover, but still outstanding "End of the Road" by Boyz II Men. The members of Home Free don't seem to have egos - whichever one suits the song better is the one who does it regardless if one of the others wrote it. For example, Tim Foust (bass) wrote "Remember This"; however, he thought Rob Lundquist (beard & glasses) suited it the song best. Both Austin Brown & Tim Foust have channels of their own with solos (both originals and covers) and have duets together of "My Maria" and "What's It To You".

Also ask the fans on this page on how to listen to their vaults songs but also where they take a camera & play silly buggers with everyone. You maybe only have 140 songs to go but going back in time. Have fun in this rabbit hole now i know why a rabbit hole as rabbits do like to have many babies (new fans). It never hurts to ask.
