Great reaction as always! For the Sing-off, I recommend you react to them, they did The Ring of Fire live in that show too. Also, fun fact, Pentatonix won The Sing-off Season 3 while Home Free won the show in Season 4. Voiceplay also joined the sing-off during the 4th season but were eliminated midway the show. The Sing-off is a show all about acapella groups.

There's only one mistake you can make with HF -- listening to their cover of Cam's "Mayday" too soon. It's one of their best songs, but in order to get maximum enjoyment, you need to be thoroughly familiar with all the current members and their voices. When you get there, you'll understand why. :-)

I live in Southern California, and I never heard of them until I spent a lot of time on KZfaq during COVID restrictions. Now I’m a patreon, and have watched most of their videos on KZfaq. I also enjoy seeing new reactors like yourself share my joy in watching them. Their repertoire is vast and they keep adding new material. I desperately want to see them live, but their current tour isn’t anywhere near me in the near future. Keep on the Home Free train and I’ll be watching your reactions. If you want a real treat, watch their performance of “Helplessly Hoping”.

I am enjoying hearing Ebony talking in the background. I remember how frustrating the constant chatter can become when you are busy. Don't worry about keeping her quiet for us. It is a joy for this old lady. EDIT: As for your question about the singoff. Most of the people listening know these videos by heart. We love seeing others discover this group and the music we love. We would love to see you enjoy the sing off- especially since this is a program you are unfamiliar with. We are also OK with your decision to watch it on your own. This is your channel, run it your way. We are along for the ride. I enjoyed your reaction. and look forward to hearing miss Ebony from time to time. Home Free has a few full concerts on KZfaq. I recently was going thru different reactors and came across this group. Now I love everything about them. I listen to them over and over. They can be serious and then the next video they show their humorous side. It’s different all the time. Just love them, each member has their own unique voice and style.🎶🎵🎶. Another great group is Pentatonix. They won the Sing-off in 2012 and Home Free won it in 2013. The judges on the show critique the groups fairly well and let’s them know where they need to improve. I’m enjoying your reactions and their are a few reactors that don’t listen a head to the singers, they prefer to react the way you do it. So keep up the great job you’re doing and God Bless🎶🎵🎶👏🎵

Tim Foust is the awesome bass; Rob Lundquist is Tenor 2 (glasses and big black beard); Austin Brown is Tenor 1 (red hair); Adam Rupp is the world class vocal percussion. At the start, and in this video, the 5th member is Chris Rupp (he and brother Adam founded the group). They won the Sing-Off in 2014, and have continued to improve since then. Since 2016, the 5th member has been Adam Chance (known as Chance, baritone and bass). He is able to cover the bass line when Tim takes the lead. Having a second lower voice gives them a different sound and vocal dynamic than other groups. All have great voices individually, but together become just incredible.

Kenny Rogers once told the guys, it's what we lovingly refer to when we talk about Home Free, that it's a good thing that fame takes its time because it helps build a solid and loyal fan base. Home Free is certainly doing that I found them 7 years ago and they are more known than we think, but because they aren't played on the radio in the US, because the US radio stations are controlled by the record labels and when Home Free was with Sony they didn't promote them, they don't get the recognition they are worthy of. I'm guessing I will see you at a concert at some point! I've been to 18 in 8 different, European, countries so far, including the very first Euro concert, in Birmingham, UK, and the so far only concert in Spain, in Girona. (I live in Spain too).

You would enjoy their cover of "How great thou art". It was recorded somewhere in the French Alps during one of their european trips. Much of the filming was done by drone. It is quite impressive and parts if it sound like there is a pipe organ playing with them. To hear Tim go low by himself listen to him and Peter Hollens cover "Misty Mountains". The sing off is also good for Tim because he almost blows the speakers. One of the judges calls him a singing refrigerator. Enjoy your little girl. She is the fun age and it won"t last that long.

I used to watch the NBC show the Sing Off and missed them the year they were on (they won the Sing Off in 2013)so I had never heard of them before either. I can’t stop listening to them. They’re so good and they sing all genres of music. Tim Foust (bass) has a 5 octave range too so he can sing super low and sing in the tenor range too which is amazing to me. Try Helplessly Hoping, Die a Happy Man, In the Blood to hear more great harmonies. @@stinkbug4321 I did not say they created THE Song Ring of Fire. Everyone knows that. What HOME FREE DID create, was their rendition of Ring of Fire, in a A Cappella form. That is what they had to do, per the contest rules. So, me, I am full of nothing. They (HOME FREE) created this version of this song. Please, know what I said before you try to make me look dumb. Besides, you are filling that job up pretty well.

Welcome to the world of Home Free, Samantha. Now you only have about a 150 more videos to react too, LOL! This video was from 7 years ago, and they have only gotten better. There is not one video that is disappointing. Maybe the song itself might not be great, but their performances and arrangements are always top notch and they make it their own. You will find many of their cover versions are actually better than the original artists. And they have a lot of originals for you to react too as well. I can tell you are a Home Fry just after your first taste. Believe me, these guys have the richest harmonies on the planet, so enjoy your new adventure going down the HF rabbit hole.
