It's a french song called "Santiano" by Hughues Aufray if you need a full version haha

@@emixamidou Both are good songs, but Santiano by Hughues Aufray is a different song altogether. The best version of Santiana is by Fisherman's Friends. And a very good (imo best) version of Santiano is by a german band called Santiano. They also do an english version featuring Nathan Evans

The Longest Johns partner with SKÁLD to do a really excellent version that mixes Santiana (the original sea shanty) and Santiano (a French song from 1961). It's under the name Santiano, but it's got English and French verses.

You must understand that the main instruction is to gain God and be a glorious testimony to God.) Almighty God said ALL who can OBEY the present REVELATIONS of the HOLY SPIRIT are BLESSED. It doesn't matter how they used to be, or how the HOLY SPIRIT WORKED in their WILL before--those who have ACHIEVED the LATEST WORK of GOD are the blessed, and those who do not follow the latest work in the present are removed. GOD wants those who can RECEIVE the NEW LIGHT, and He wants those who RECEIVE and KNOW, in His latest work. ☀️ Why is it SAID that you must be a CLEAN VIRGIN? You don't have great proficiency in the Bible, and you are not equipped with religious theory, but because GOD has already MADE you, you have ACHIEVED more than anyone else in the ENTIRE AGES---and so this is your greatest blessing .☀️ Because of this, you should be more dedicated to GOD, and be more FAITHFUL to GOD. Because GOD ELEVATED you, you must CONFIRM your efforts and you must PREPARE your elevation to ACCEPT GOD'S INSTRUCTIONS, YOU MUST STAND in the place that GOD GIVES you, Aspire to be one of GOD'S PEOPLE , ACCEPT KINGDOM training, ACHIEVE GOD and eventually become a glorious TESTIMONY to GOD. 🙏💐 Do you have these decisions? 💐🙏 If you HAVE such determinations, in the END you will DEFINITELY ACHIEVE GOD, and you will be a glorious TESTIMONY to GOD. You must UNDERSTAND that the main INSTRUCTION is to ACHIEVE GOD and be a glorious TESTIMONY to GOD. I can't believe I get the honor to say that my dad helped create this band when they first came to be. Literally he used to sing with Home Free in Louisiana then he built the band a Cadillac, which is the one seen in the "My Church" video, and sold it to them when he moved to Idaho. I’ve experienced this live 3-4 times and it’s so fun! When Home Free first released the Sea Shanty Medley, I remember thinking it was an odd choice for them. But they can sing anything and make it better. And sea shanties kind of have a universal appeal. Looking forward to maybe getting to hear them sing Skull n Bones live in the future.

When I went to a show of theirs, Tim said something along the lines of “I know what you all are thinking, how can we take these men home with us? Well we have CD’s at the merch table!” Made me laugh. Love this! I was teaching a group of nurses from Newfoundland and we went out to celebrate the end of class. Suddenly all the spoons disappeared from the table. They all started singing Sea Shanties with spoons and a cappella. The whole restaurant loved it! The manager came over and asked if they could come back next week. It was so nice to bring back that memory, love your versions too!

I really love this so much! With all the cell phone videos and even in the live shows, with various positions and acoustics you don't get to hear quite so cleanly and clearly each part and how they fit together, but here it's just magic. And that growl at the start of Cape Cod Girls gets me every time right in the gut. This is well worth the watch even after hearing and watching the Sea Shanty Medley vid a zillion times.

I wanted to go see Home Free at the Alaska State Fair but didn’t have transportation 😢. It did turn out to be an extremely wet evening, though (no record high summer in Alaska this year - it was cool & wet).

Was there. It was filmed in Mankato MN last December. They announced they were recording/filming for a video. Wasn't sure if this was from the concert but went back to the little bit I recorded from the concert and they're all wearing the exact same clothes as in this video. Was so fun.😊
