This is a-maz-ing as you said. Almost every female reactor has said, "Let's just state the fact that Austin is singing this to me" so it cracked me up when you said you admit you fell a little in love with Austin. 😜 His girlfriend was in the studio be the camera, so he was singing to her, but it felt very personal to the viewer.

Percey Sledge did the original and for me Austin did an upgrade. He made it his own with Tim's encouragement. 🥰 Thanks for your reaction and love of Austin. ✌❤

Yeah, Percy Sledge was the man. He recorded that in 1966 when I was 13. I heard Michael Bolton had a recording of it in the 90's I think but I never heard it. Love Percy and Austin's versions.

In my generation - the thought of doing Percy Sledge = Himself a high tenor with soul in his voice would have been - sonic suicide .... UNTIL THIS PHENOMENAL High Tenor Austin Brown !!! Kudos Home Free. Is there anything they "CAN'T" do ?

Thank you for your reaction. Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.

He was looking at Amberly while he was singing so basically a love song for her is a great performance for us. As a side note he released Bring Him Home on his channel and it so beautiful with Sebastion on the Piano they just killed it

Couldn't agree with you more: they did an incredible job of this cover. It totally blew me away, too! It takes me a while to recover from the emotion every time I listen this song. Maybe it's his earlier training in musicals, but Austin's ability to completely adapt to the subject of any song they take on really showcases his acting talent as well. It's sometimes hard to keep in mind that it's the same guy delivering all these varied performances. Actually, these guys are all so ridiculously talented. I'm so glad they're together as a group, and I'm grateful that I can enjoy their music! Thanks so much for your reactions to Home Free.

Austin, in my opinion, is one of the world's best vocalists. His lady, Miss Amberly was just off-set and she was doing her best to give him some stimulation, and it worked...some of those looks made me fall for him too LOL !!!

Austin just absolutely crushed this cover, with the guys weaving those fabulous harmonies in the background supporting him all the way. And Adam's vocal percussion was just stellar. I can never get enough Home Free and I grow to love them more and more all the time. They are as wonderful human beings as they are musicians. It's easy to fan up with them. Great reaction. Austin is one of my favourite vocalists and he has just released his version of Bring Him Home from Les Miserables on his YT channel and you should give that a listen. While you are there you may also like At Last, the Etta James classic and a host more. Thank you for this HF reaction Cheers!

Austin, as usual, puts his vocal abilities to good use here, as did the others in this unbelievable group. Plus Adam Rupp with his outstanding vocal percussion really brought this song home. Good reaction there.

Great reaction! And Home Free did an absolutely amazing job on this one!! Trust me your not the first guy to develop a bromance with Austin. That look he keeps giving the camera is sultry for sure, and that beautiful voice. We all fall more in love with these guys after every song. "When a Man Loves a Woman" is a song written by Calvin Lewis and Andrew Wright and first recorded by Percy Sledge in 1966 at Norala Sound Studio in Sheffield, Alabama. It made number one on both the Billboard Hot 100 and R&B singles charts.

Not just a wailer. He provides those wispy high notes when are rarely mentioned but are very characteristic of Home Free style, and if you check out his recent release of Bring Him Home you'll hear a tenor in full command of a magnificent voice, unusually agile and expressive.

Phenomenal Performance! Absolute Perfection! This is my favorite version of all! Home Free is completely different than other groups because of their song choices,.the relatability factor, their beautiful voices with phenomenal harmonies! They have carved.out their own niche which is a great variable of genre's that.gives a certain edge and keeps me guessing as to what is next from these wonderful gentlemen. When I see and hear an amazing performance such as we just experienced, it is SO special. It can be a happy, upbeat song, or a love song or a tragically sad song and either way, I sometimes find tears streaming down my face because of its sheer perfection. My reaction is even amplified when I see a reactor enjoying it as much as I. Now that I've exposed my soft, squishy, vulnerable side, just let me say, keep up the great content, my friend.

I have been a self-confessed fan of choirs since time immemorial, especially of groups without any instrumental accompaniment. My favorite is a group, of Slovak origin, but with international repertoire called "PERPETUUM JEZZILE". They sing tzraditional Slavic music, but more international, well-known covers (My favorites are the covers of the BeeGees and " Will You Be There (Michael Jackson) - Ecce quomodo moritur iustus" The latter ALWAYS brings tears to my eyes. You should check it out and listen to it!

Home Free has been such a great gift to all of us--especially their extra efforts in providing us with excellent music/videos throughout quarantine and the difficult days of isolation we've all dealt with these past couple of years. Percy Sledge, from Alabama, sang it first and in my opinion BEST. Michael Bolton sang it later; but not as well as Percy Sledge did! There is NO comparison to Percy's version, except when HOMEFREE did their rendition! AND, it was uncomparable....by far, the best of ALL! Thank you for the wonderful critique that you did for HOMEFREE'S version of "When A Man Loves A Woman"! It was breathtaking, as was the MASTEPIECE of this beautiful song! I have to say that I still like Percy's

Sooooo many great songs that Home Free covers. Their own stuff is great too. I would say check out Dive Bar Saints, One Man Band, Remember This, Crazy Life (watch the Lego version, cute) and as always Great reaction. They are all incredible for sure. 😂 You’re hilarious. I do follow some other reactors but you are by far my favorite. I love your honesty and I love that Austin made you a little weak in the knees but honestly there’s not one of these guys who doesn’t make me weak in the knees. 🥰They are simply the BEST and your reactions to them match mine perfectly. In 2020 Austin and Tim went and did some back yard shows (highest bidders got the visits). The one I liked is them doing the song My Maria, covered by Brooks and Dunn and the original was from B W Stevenson. The shocker is that Tim took the lead not Austin. It sounds amazing.

Great reaction. Austin blew me away too. I always loved Percy Sledge’s original , but Austin topped that!!! I play this many times every day. First time visiting your channel, so don’t know if you’ve heard Austin sing Unchained Melody. It has 8.5 million views on KZfaq. That is where I first fell in love with his voice and then discovered Home Free.

What I find incredible is that this was done during the pandemic when they were each at their own homes. They recorded their parts separately and then put them together. At the same time they did the Rick Astley song Never Gonna Give You Up also. That one is very funny, please watch that next.
