This weeks video will be a home gym makeover where I show you our DIY workout room from start to finish. We weren’t originally anticipating putting a gym in our home but with how these past couple years have gone, we figured it would be a good investment. I’m super pumped (no pun intended... LOL) with how it all turned out and it just may be one of my new favorite rooms in the house! I really wanted a serene, calm, but yet motivating space we could do cardio, yoga, workout videos, and weightlifting in. THINGS IN THIS VIDEO:
Wall Moulding (All of these are ACTUAL measurements)
All sides to the board and batten were the same size except for the top: 3 and 1/2 inches wide, 3/4 inch thick
Spacing: 14 3/4 inch spacing between each board
-68 3/4 inch tall for the vertical boards (not including top and bottom strip)
Top “skinny” moulding piece: 1 and 1/2 inches wide, 3/4 inch thick

You two hit it out of the park again!!! Mike is such a good sport to do the "muscle man" make over. Kudos to both of you for all the work you put into the room and assembly of the gym items. Hubby and I can barely put together a sandwich let alone workout equipment!!

Such a great before and after! We have a little work out space in our second living and I have been trying to figure out a way to make it look like an intentional transition. Very nicely done. I just upgraded my house too and in transition to finish decorating, the drapes you used might work for my dining room. Have tall walls and finding that a bit challenging to decorate, I am thinking a gallery wall.

Oh, nice. Carpets and rugs are going to be really great when sweating a lot - Though it looks nice 😉👍. Really like the color scheme. I really do not understand why so many home gyms are always painted black. This looks inviting. Can you skip rope on a carpet?
