I use Hydroponic to grow vegetables , it's much faster and very satisfied a s easy I m showing you step by step how to make home made Deep Hydroponic system
Things required :
- Storage box
- Drill Machine
- Hole saw 54 mm
- Marker Pen
- Measuring tape
drill the holes after wash the box if you want To start hydroponic garden you need :
- Hydroponics Solution AB Fertilizer
- PH down
-TDS&EC Meter
-pH Meter
first you need to Fill the box with water, Use" PH down" to level the ph
the proper pH level depends on what you're
growing
most plant do well in a pH range
of 5,5 and 6,5
for EC levels or electrical conductivity Is the number of nutrients your
system You will need your EC level to be
around 1200 to 1500 parts per million.
Plants need oxygen as they undergo aerobic
respiration In this process the plants release energy for
nutrient uptake and root growth IN a water based hydroponics system , oxygen
is dissolved in as a nutrient solution in the water
reservoir that's why we need the air pump
I have this lettuce seedlings ready to transfer to the system Fill the net cap with clay pebbles
to make the seedlings stand

Hi , no need to change water u Need to add only , when water level and EC drop you need to add .

Hi there! No need to change water , u just check the EC and the pH level , if the EC drop add fertilizer A&b , if the pH level raise use pH down to bring down to the desired level.

Hi, I am interested in building this. Did you manage to grow full size lettuce? Did you have problems with organisms in the water? How long was the system online and did you encounter any problems? Pls reply sir

Hi there ! Yes the lettuce grow well. The problems I faced _mosquito larvae _ the holes was so close when the plants grow no space . Air pump on day time and off at night.

@@DIYGARDENWITHBB Thank you! If I understand correctly this is a water pump (just moves the water up the hose) and the air gets in the water because of the water droping from the hose back in the container right? Also did you find the mosquito larvae on the leaves?

@@domestostm4365 Yes you can run the water pump like you said or just use air pump with air stone , the larvae was in the water as long you close the box nicely you want see them.

Lettuce doesn’t even need the air pump…. It will grow literally in a bucket of nutrient solution! All other plants will need the air pump! Try it out! We had great results in school.
