That's a great preparment process with the descumming, this is how it's supposed to be made, since it's also more healthy, it reduces the legumes gasiness. Love

worlds greatest food. This video added many extra steps. mix flour / water 1:1 .. let sit in fridge until liquid gels & has slight layer of water. then grease a pan, pour batter in, season, and cook!

She explains the extra steps, to remove some of the chickpea flavor. It's good to know. I'll try the shorter version first and then I'll know this is an option if I want less chickpea flavor.

feels like you're making too much work for yourself. for one block of tofu I make one cup of besan flour to 1 and half cup of water pinch of salt pinch and turmeric and whisk well getting out any lumps, Dont bother leaving it. Heat 1 and half cup of water to saucepan, when water boiling add flour mix and on low heat stir continuosly till it's like porrige. Pour into mold and leave to cool and set. Takes lot less time

Nan dar when I live in Burma, I never try that too. Since here in Canada, most of our food ingredients, we just make up. Thank you
