The most visible sign of the environmental damage caused by humans, the melting of the ice on the oceans and on land is a local and global problem. Arctic ecosystems, whose best known species is the polar bear, are under threat. Native peoples, particularly the Inuits, also see their living conditions worsen as the ice melts. The ice is a witness to the Earth's climatic evolutions and its disappearance will have consequences far beyond the polar regions. As the ice-cap melts, sea-levels will rise drastically altering coastlines all round the world.

it may be too late to fix this , but its never to late to change our conscience and do a little bit more , so we won't feel so useful when it comes to the bad times coming. Thanks for the video, its an inspiration, breath taking, I'm looking forward to see the final result.

okay!... so they used some sort of gyro steadicam that lets the camera point at the same spot even as the helicopter is turning.

è tardi per tuto,dovevate ascoltarmi 30 anni fa quando dicevo ed anticipavo dei rischi che si correvano,ma scimmie uomo preferivano ascoltare loro disturbi mentali,anziche ascoltare l'anbiente con il proprio corpo,organizzatevi il tenpo stringe veramente "e come avevo gia previsto questi tempi"sono ad annunciarvi che ci sara il botto,è inutile che vi arrabbiate gli uni con gli altri,ognuno colga da se l'infinita responsabilita che ha delle proprie azioni,e mediti su cosa è bene e male

Non sono vegetariano, ma intanto faccio la raccolta differenziata ogni giorno. Carta, plastica metallo e vetro, ogni giorno. Fare a meno della carne non è un problema.

What i see in history is that a person who lived 200 years ago could really easily adapt to 1000 ago, but a person like you and me would never be able to adapt even to 200 years ago... or maybe is it 20 years ago (no internet = no life)? lol

well, I don't want to play down the consequences, but it is already proven, that the rise of the sea level won't be as drastic as expected. The dependencies and sea levels already vary a lot - there is no worldwide common zero-line. Some parts will remain at the same level .. some will rise a few cm. There won't be landscapes covered in water like in Queensland nowadays. The phrase "sea-levels will rise drastically altering coastlines all round the world." is just outdated,

benissimo, e allora cominci di fare a meno della carne, perche' da sola la raccolta differenziata non basta, specialmente in Italia, paese altamente incivile. Anche dove abito io ci sono i raccoglitori differenziati, ma un giorno mi hanno spiegato che il loro contenuto viene portato in una discarica generale. Informati pure nel comune tuo. Immagino che non compri mai le scarpe di: Geox, Adidas, Timberland, Clarks, mobili di Chateaux dAx Ikea e carne in scatola Simmenthal e Montana?

Vince finchè la gente non si rende conto di quello che succede, e decide di assumersi le proprie responsabilità. Mi dispiace, ma non hai abbastanza coglioni per affrontare questo discorso. Se la gente capisse il valore della solidarietà, e della responsabilità, le cose cambierebbero. E infatti cambieranno prima o poi, ne sono convinto.

Il tuo è proprio l'atteggiamento sbagliato. "Ci sono interessi"... Quando all'interesse del piacere fine a sè stesso e dei soldi facili subentra l'interesse di SOPRAVVIVERE, vedi come la gente si dà una svegliata... La vita ha perso troppo il suo valore, è ora di riacquistarlo.

Ma cazzo, basta fa la raccolta differenziata, io la faccio in casa, c'ho tre buste, dopo un po' diventa automatico: la carta co la carta, la plastica co la plastica, e il cazzo co la fica. Se non sapete che fare, fate questo. La raccolta differenziata.
