My 98 year old dad died 3 months ago. This movie made me see him as the old house that provided shelter for so many years and felt the passing of time. Although I’m 58 years old, I saw myself as the younger house that kept it company and traveled with the older house, until it couldn’t move any longer. The youngest house as our dogs that loved his company and yet also the grandchildren who felt the comfort, happiness, and strength of just being near him. Watching the old house see it’s last sunset, that….that was a heavy impact. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for this. It’s art, which we each interpret our own way, based on our life experiences. I’ve become a fan of short films recently. What a hidden gem!

This short film packed more emotion into it in 10 minutes than most Hollywood movies do in two hours. People may say there are no good movies anymore, but they just don't know where to look.

This little film is more than just cute; I think it packs real emotional punch. What appears to be a post-apocalyptic world is made all the more haunting by using the universal icon of safe shelter as the thing in need of safe shelter, and a place to call home. Home searching for home. A beautiful, thought provoking little film.

The old house is like some of us who neither has a wish to live nor a will to die. The strength of a middle age n the lightness of a little one helps the older house to survive the rough weather to reach a peaceful sunset. That's what a home(family) meant tobe. Kudos!

I never thought I would sit here and cry my eyes out because of a house. But here I sit, tears on my cheeks after watching this wonderful video about friendship. And the cutest kennel I've seen in my life.

Isnt our life a journey? We meet different types of people and found friends along the way. Goid friends will standby us along the journey and face hardship together. But, when it is time for the journey of one has reached the final destination, one of us will stay on whilst the other will move on. Let's cherish on the sweet memories we made when together.

This short film is REMARKABLE. Truly the entire idea, every detail. My best friend passed away two months ago. My dear friend was much older but that never hindered much until the last couple of years. I felt like I was watching us. Especially the scene when the younger house kept the fire going for the older house. I helped take care of him this last year, I would do anything I could to make him comfortable. I miss him so much and will always cherish our many years together. Thank you for this film.

That's beautiful. Some people walk with us for part of the journey we call life. Some got lost or went on their own ways. Some we will always remember no matter how long they've been gone.

I watched this almost a year ago...Watching it now still brought tears to my eyes...Life...we struggle, we keep trying, moving forward no matter the storm...Yet in the end...we face the fact...that " what was...is no more".

...then a human comes along, sees the once beauty and grace of the old house, with its beautiful view of the ocean, makes a trip to Home Depot and renovates it for an episode of, "This Old House".

My favorite type of story! I absolutely love when stories and movies are about personification of inanimate objects (the good ones that are nice, not the mean, scary bad ones lol) that come to life and are also given a soul, a personality, and feelings such as love, sadness, even silliness etc.. i.e: toasters 😃 trees.. like in the book "The Giving Tree" (the most beautiful, meaningful story imo) houses, such as in this little gem of a film, vegetables and fruits, cars, even little candelabras etc etc... This film is a perfect 10 in my opinion. Meaningful, touching, but sad. Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️

This is one of the cutest, most artistically clever short films I have ever watched. It captures the journey that is life, the eventual sunset that is death and reminds us of those we leave behind to remember us. Fantastic job!

From the 4th C graders we would like to say that we loved the story, it was a good dramatic story. The story had good feelings, and good graphics. We are so sorry that the old house passed away, please make a part two. It was a really special story. We would like to say that this is the best animation we had ever seen.

In today's era personal and seperate home is a huge blessing from God...bcoz in joint family no privacy.. only interruption.. interferences.. comparison. Competition. conflicts take place... there is seperate memory from each snd every corner of the House and from belongings too .. please KHUDA GIVE a seperate house to all and to us too Ameen
