Fire TV Stick 4K supports Dolby Atmos (when the title supports Atmos). At least with the ones sold here. Also we are not setting up a Dolby Atmos setup. This is because of space constraints and it’s a living room. We don’t want to compromise with sound bar or Atmos enabled speakers at this point. This was explained in prt1. Are you running Atmos setup ? Because we need just 4M transmission, Fibre optic HDMI is not required. Thanks for writing in .

@@soorajvs8689 Its purely dependent on the viewing distance from the screen. Is the setup over with seating location very far from the screen? Considering the 110" you need to be within ~11ft to get the goodness of 4k else a 1080p will perform same (except the colors) upto 18-19ft.

Hi Manu, We wish you the best for your upcoming one cinema. With 11 feet , sides will be a bit tight but not an issue since it’s a dedicated theatre. You will need at least 2 subs for uniform distribution I guess. Get a pair of SVS. They are available in India. Projector vangumbo throw ratio valare shradhikkanam. BenQ w5700, Sony ES entry level modes, EPson UBs , JVC N5 are all fitting in. See how much you can the speaker set for , that will tell us how much we can keep aside for projector. Think if you want to get AVR. You can also think of AV processors and separate power amp. This will be more expensive but worth it.

@@maanuch Since the width is a multiple of the length there will be many issues with the closely distributed standing waves in this room, if its not constructed you can slightly change the dimensions esp the width. Also due to the narrow room, you will have to sit very near to the screen for proper speaker placement, there are ways to install wider than the width too by placing the speakers beyond the front wall. In that case you can use short throw projector. Moreover there are ways to use this extra length for your advantage in doing proper acoustics at the same time will help in reducing the length. You can place 2 rows of seats. Only after seeing the floorplan one can suggest the possibilities of that room. First you need to fix the seating positions and then think about other variables including the electronics and speakers as that is the starting point for a theater build.
